  • Publication number: 20250255487
Abstract: A dentine-enamel boundary detection system for an oral inspection device is provided. The dentine-enamel boundary detection system includes a light emission module configured to emit light to irradiate an oral region of interest and two optical filters having different respective passbands. Each of the two optical filters are arranged to filter a portion of fluorescence emitted from oral structures in the oral region of interest to pass filtered fluorescence. The system further includes a sensor module and a processor module. The sensor module is configured to detect the filtered fluorescence and output corresponding sensor data. The processor module configured to identify the presence of a dentine-enamel boundary in the oral region of interest by processing the sensor data output by the sensor module.

  • Patent number: 12383836
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a personalized agent service that generates and evolves customized agents that can be instantiated in-game to play with users. Machine learning models are trained to control the agent's interactions with the game environment and the user during gameplay. A user may request that a personalized agent join the user's gameplay session. The user device sends a request for the personalized agent to a game platform. The game platform determines whether the user has a license to execute a second instance of the game. When the user has a license to execute a second instance of the game, the second instance of the game may be executed on the user device. Information received from a personalized agent service is used to instantiate a personalized agent in the second instance of the game.

  • Publication number: 20250248598
Abstract: An optical coherence tomography scanning system traverses its respective scan pattern quickly, typically completing an entire two-dimensional frame faster than a conventional raster scanner completes one raster line segment. To traverse the scan pattern quickly, the system takes fewer A-scans per length of scan pattern than a conventional OCT scanner. To compensate for the sparsity of the sample points along the respective scan line segments, and for gaps between respective line segments of the trajectory, the system acquires and combines several partially overlapping frames for each study to generate a dense OCT image. A visible light camera captures an image for each traversal of the scan pattern, but only a predetermined subset of pixels in the visible light image, which correspond to locations on the anatomical item interrogated by a sample arm of the OCT, are used to color corresponding pixels in the dense OCT image.

  • Patent number: 12379121
Abstract: This application relates to a building energy analysis and management system for measurement and verification of building performance. The system can analyze, optimize, manage, maintain, trouble shoot, and/or modify building systems, such as HVAC systems, in connection with the building energy usage. Measurements may be gathered for one or more HVAC units coupled to pressure independent valves, and sent to one or more Surge Panels that pass data to remote analysis servers, which can receive other system or external data. The analysis servers compare measurements to predicted values and can standardize the predicted values to account for external conditions. The comparison can result in difference values used to generate probable causes and optimization recommendations. The system outputs reports or other data display using a graphical user interface that can be adjusted for an anticipated user.

  • Patent number: 12379723
Abstract: A method includes operating an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) in a first physical location according to a first safety protocol of the AMR and based on a location of the AMR relative to a second physical location different from the first physical location and with a second safety protocol different from the first safety protocol, switching the AMR to operate under the second safety protocol rather than the first safety protocol while the AMR is located in the second physical location. The method also includes, in response to detecting that the AMR is exiting the second physical location after the AMR has completed operating in the second physical location, switching the AMR to operate under the first safety protocol.

  • Publication number: 20250241778
Abstract: An apparatus applies traction to a digit of a patient's foot at a desired adduction angle and a desired dorsiflexion angle, for use in treating a bunion. The apparatus includes: a shoe portion (e.g., a sole, and strap(s)); a digit attachment apparatus (e.g., a Chinese finger trap) having a cable extending therefrom; and an apparatus (e.g., a ratchet, an actuator, and the like) configured to apply tension to the cable with respect to the sole. A support bracket is configured to pivot with respect to the shoe portion to adjust the adduction angle of the cable with respect to an axial direction of the sole, and is further configured to extend upwardly to at an elevated position with respect to the sole. An adjustment member is mounted to slide relative to the support bracket, to adjust the dorsiflexion angle provided by the cable independent of the adduction angle.

  • Patent number: 12373811
Abstract: Images are captured of a customer during a transaction at a transaction terminal along with images associated with items of the transaction and any bags or cart used to hold the items. The images are processed to track any movement and locations of the customer, items, bags, and cart relative to a known location of the transaction terminal. When a transaction payment is required for the transaction and movement is detected in a direction that is moving away from the transaction terminal before a payment notification is received for the transaction, one or more alerts are raised as an indication to staff and/or security systems of a potential in-progress walk-away theft.

  • Patent number: 12372619
Abstract: A light detection and ranging (LiDAR) system including a plurality of light emitters, wherein the plurality of light emitters are configured to emit a plurality of beams, and the plurality of light emitters are configured to form a beam polarization pattern of the plurality of beams to be emitted toward an object external to the LiDAR system, a receiver that is configured to receive light reflected from the object, and an analyzer that comprises a processor and programming instructions that are configured to cause the processor to determine characteristic differences between the beam polarization pattern of the beams emitted toward the object and an intensity pattern of the light reflected from the object, determine a reflection position that is associated with the light reflected from the object, and use the determined characteristic differences to determine whether the reflection position is a position of the object or a position of a ghost.

  • Publication number: 20250235754
Abstract: Golf club heads are provided for selectively increasing or optimizing the coefficient of restitution (COR) at likely impact locations on the striking face of the golf club heads, while simultaneously maintaining characteristic time (CT) below a threshold value in those likely impact locations. By analyzing historical impact locations of a large cross-section of golfers, golf club head COR values can be increased or optimized in preferential locations on the striking face, such as using weighting factors for a predefined set of locations on the striking face. Therefore, instead of increasing COR uniformly across the face and/or increasing COR at impact locations on the face where golfers are unlikely to strike the golf ball, the sweet spot of the golf club head can be increased at the impact locations where golfers typically strike the golf ball.

  • Patent number: 12367494
Abstract: A method and system for detecting fraudulent network events in a payment card network by incorporating breach velocities into fraud scoring models are provided. A potential compromise event is detected, and payment cards that transacted at a compromised entity associated with the potential compromise event are identified. Subsequent transaction activity for the payment cards is reviewed, and a data structure for the payment cards are generated. The data structure sorts subsequent transaction activity into fraud score range stripes. The data structure is parsed over a plurality of time periods, and at least one cumulative metric is calculated for each of the time periods in each fraud score range stripe. A plurality of ratio striping values are determined, and a set of feature inputs is generated using the ratio striping values. The feature inputs are applied to a scoring model used to score future real-time transactions initiated using the payment cards.

  • Publication number: 20250232389
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for an electricity utility or retail electric provider to incentivize a retail electricity customer to increase the amount of renewable energy they consume through an innovative pricing plan and digital application by letting customers understand how much renewable energy is on the electric grid at any point in time. They receive incentives for using more renewable energy and may also compete against each other or a benchmark customer to have the greenest energy consumption.
