  • Publication number: 20240128843
Abstract: A rotor for an electric machine, including a laminated core with slots in which bottom bars and top bars are arranged to in an axial direction beyond the laminated core to form a winding overhang. A bottom bar of one slot is respectively connected to a top bar of another slot in the winding overhang and, in a plan view, bottom bars and top bars cross axially outside the laminated core at crossing points and gaps remain between the crossing points. A support device has a retaining body arranged radially inside the winding overhang and at least one clip having two legs and a crosspiece. The is connected to both the retaining body and to a top bar to radially support the top bar by the retaining body. To ensure a robust stabilization of the winding overhang the legs protrude through two gaps adjacent to different top bars.

  • Patent number: 11913564
Abstract: A valve housing (1) has first and third openings (1.1, 1.3), and first and second actuating elements (6.1, 6.2) that are movable along a longitudinal axis of the housing (1). A return element (5) is between the actuating elements (6.1, 6.2), and exerts a force to keep the actuating elements (6.1, 6.2) in a rest position to close or open the first and third openings (1.1. 1.3). First and second wires (4.1, 4.2) are formed from a shape memory alloy. The first wire (4.1) is on the first actuating element (6.1) and the second wire (4.2) is on the second actuating element (6.2). An electric current to the first or second wire (4.1, 4.2) contracts the respective wire (4.1, 4.2) and moves the corresponding actuating element (6.1, 6.2) into an activated position against the force exerted by the return element (5).

  • Patent number: 11876894
Abstract: A system and method for controlling recall of a product in a computer network. A pair of product keys can be assigned to the product including a private product key and a public product key. A pair of product recall keys can be assigned to a product recall, including a private product recall key and a public product recall key. A data processing device assigned to a manufacturer in the computer network can be configured to print a matrix code on the product and generate a recall transaction assigned to the product indicating a recall request for the product. The data processing device can sign the recall transaction with the private product recall key and a private manufacturer key. A second data processing device is configured to scan the printed matrix code on the product and provide the public product recall key by decrypting the printed matrix code.

  • Patent number: 9947148
Abstract: A method and associated safety system are provided for the recognition of defects in a drive system of a motor vehicle, having an electronically controllable brake control system and having at least one electronically controlled driving engine, an electronically controllable clutch and/or having an electronically controllable transmission. An electronic braking control device is assigned to the brake control system, which braking control device is connected with an independent monitoring module. The independent monitoring module checks for an occurrence of an implausible braking torque, for detecting a defect in the drive system.

  • Patent number: 8725348
Abstract: A method is provided for detecting faults in an electronically controlled drive system of a motor vehicle by way of an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit detects at least the accelerator pedal position and the longitudinal acceleration of the motor vehicle as input signals. The control unit is configured to carry out a first fault detection program independently of its actual functional scope, by which program, a fault is detected if a defined acceleration gradient, which is dependent on a change in the accelerator pedal position, is exceeded for longer than for a predefined time period.

  • Patent number: 8245629
Abstract: A liquid infusing and flavoring device for the infusing and/or flavoring of liquids. The liquid infusing and flavoring device includes an inlet passage connectable to a liquid (typically beer) to allow liquid to flow into the liquid infusing and flavoring device. An outlet passage allows the liquid to flow out of the liquid infusing and flavoring device and which the outlet passage is connectable to the inlet portion of a liquid dispensing tap. The liquid infusing and flavoring device has a container that houses the infusing and/or flavoring substance. The container is in selective fluid communication ith the with the inlet and outlet passages. In order to allow the liquid to pass through the liquid infusing and flavoring device, there is situated between the inlet and outlet passages a three way valve operable between a non-infusing-flavoring mode and an infusing-flavoring mode.
