  • Patent number: 11097777
Abstract: A lane-change assistance system for a motor vehicle performs a plurality of lane changes from the current lane to a target lane, which are required in order to follow a navigation system outputted route. The plurality of lane changes is performed in response to the lane-change assistance system ascertaining a triggering operation action by the driver, which indicates that the driver wants the lane-change assistance system to perform the plurality of lane changes.

  • Publication number: 20190152525
Abstract: A lane-change assistance system for a motor vehicle performs automated lane change with at least automated lateral guidance. The lane-change assistance system is designed to determine, on the basis of information from a navigation system for navigation, that a plurality of lane changes from the current lane to a target lane are required in order to follow the navigation. The assistance system is also designed to inform the driver of a need to change lanes. By a triggering operation action by the driver, the driver can indicate the driver wants to perform the required number of lane changes in order to follow the active navigation. The assistance system checks if such a triggering operation action by the driver for triggering the required plurality of lane changes exists.

  • Patent number: 10026164
Abstract: A method of performing and monitoring a processing step on a workpiece using a system having a projector, a photogrammetric device and a control unit knowing the relative position of the projector and the photogrammetric device, comprises the following steps: referencing to determine a pose of the workpiece with respect to the projector and the photogrammetric device in a predetermined coordinate system; projection of a work instruction onto the workpiece; processing of the workpiece by a worker; and monitoring of the processing by scanning at least a portion of a surface of the workpiece, wherein all steps, with the exception of the processing by the worker, are performed by the device and wherein all steps are performed at the same workstation within a framework of an integrated process.

  • Patent number: 9452706
Abstract: A maneuvering aid for a vehicle has a lighting device configured to at least partially illuminate at least an underlying surface under the vehicle and/or a vehicle bodywork. A control device configured to control the lighting device in order to activate and/or deactivate same. The control device is configured to control the lighting device at least as a function of a vehicle speed and/or of a vehicle acceleration and/or of a distance of the vehicle from a roadway boundary or an obstacle in the roadway. A corresponding method, a corresponding vehicle, and a headlight assembly are described as well.

  • Patent number: 8797047
Abstract: Depending on a sensor signal, a noise signal which suppresses a useful signal spectrum of the sensor signal is determined by filtering using a filter. A noise variable, which is a measure of a noise of the sensor signal, is determined depending on the noise signal. An error of the sensor signal is identified depending on the noise variable determined.

  • Patent number: 8532878
Abstract: A method and a device detect a transverse inclination of a roadway on which a vehicle is traveling. The transverse inclination is detected on the basis of a transverse acceleration of the vehicle that is generated by the transverse inclination of the roadway. A transverse acceleration of the vehicle is measured with a measuring device. A transverse acceleration that is generated by driving maneuvers of the vehicle is determined by a transverse inclination observer. The transverse acceleration of the vehicle due to the transverse inclination of the roadway is subsequently determined by determining a difference between the transverse acceleration generated by the driving maneuvers and the transverse acceleration measured by the measuring device. A method and a device are also provided for compensating for the transverse inclination of the roadway on which a vehicle is traveling.
