  • Patent number: 6083485
Abstract: This invention relates to an in-vivo diagnostic method based on near infrared radiation (NIR radiation) that uses water-soluble dyes and their biomolecule adducts, each having specific photophysical and pharmaco-chemical properties, as a contrast medium for fluorescence and transillumination diagnostics in the NIR range, to new dyes and pharmaceuticals containing such dyes.

  • Patent number: 5961954
Abstract: This invention relates to new bifunctional chelating agents with intermittent chalcogen atoms, pharmaceuticals containing these compounds, their use in radiodiagnostics and radiotherapy, and methods for the production of these compounds. The compound according to the invention has the general formula (I)M--Lwhere M represents a radionuclide and L a ligand of the general formula (II).It was found, surprisingly, that these new, bifunctional chelating agents with intermittent chalcogen atoms and their coupling products with compounds that accumulate specifically are excellently suited for producing radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

  • Patent number: 5363961
Abstract: A device for storing magnetic tape cassettes has a housing with a slider member insertable against a spring force and adapted to support a compact cassette. A locking member can be introduced into the reel hub of the compact cassette only when it is inserted. It is actuated by a shaft and an actuating element formed as a one-piece part. When a digital cassette is inserted, the locking member remains below the supporting surface of the slider member.

  • Patent number: 5303993
Abstract: A container having a plurality of receiving compartments is provided. Each of the receiving compartments have a base plate, a spring-loaded lockable slider member for engaging a magnetic tape cassette, locking devices, each of which including two adjacent independently pivotable rocker arms, and a sliding element on the base plate. The respective rocker arm matching the orientation of the magnetic tape cassette is brought into engagement by the sliding element provided with wedge-like control members to lock the reel hubs. To be able to use the same containers also for magnetic tape cassettes with closed reel hubs that are used for open reel hubs, the slider member is provided with centering elements and the sliding element is displacable by the centering elements into a middle position when the slider member is moved outward.

  • Patent number: 5215212
Abstract: A container for magnetic tape cassettes has a housing having a plurality of receiving compartments for magnetic tape cassettes, a plurality of base plates separating the compartments from one another, a lockable slider member ejectable under a spring action to a position in which a magnetic tape cassette arranged on the base plate can be removed, resilient locks provided on the slider member and formed as pivotable rocker arms adapted to engage two reel hubs of a magnetic tape cassette, projections arranged on the base plate, and elevations. The rocker arms have laterally mounted pegs which, when the slider member is ejected, disengage the rocker arms from the reel hub by running beneath the projections, and when the slider member is inserted, engage the rocker arms in the reel hub by running on the elevations.

  • Patent number: 5141103
Abstract: A storage container for recording media such as magnetic tape cassettes, compact discs and the like comprises a housing and a slider member displaceable in the housing between storage and removal positions. A locking arrangement is provided for locking the slider member in the housing in the storage position of the slider member. The locking arrangement includes a resilient flexible bar and a latch formed at one of opposite ends of the resilient locking bar with another of the opposite ends being secured to the slider member. A side arm projects from the resilient flexible bar and engages with the slider member for displaceably supporting the latch on the slide member. The arrangement includes a press button which is supported on the front portion of the slide member and is pressed against the resilient flexible bar to provide for movement of the latch from its locking position to its unlocking position.
