  • Publication number: 20230296317
Abstract: A dryer for drying a strip or panel-shaped product, in particular gypsum board or veneer panels, having a plurality of tiers, having an outer and an inner housing and an inner housing separated from the outer housing by a first and second partition wall, having conveying devices for conveying the product, upper and lower nozzle boxes arranged transversely to the conveying direction and extend over the width of the conveying devices between the dividing walls, have in each case one inflow opening on one end assigned to the first separating wall and are closed on the other end assigned to the second partition wall. Nozzle openings for blowing out drying air are present at least on one side of the product passing through. The dryer includes at least on the first partition wall adjustable adjusting plates wherein the inflow openings of the upper and lower nozzle boxes can be adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20230028601
Abstract: A method of processing a mineral solid mixture, in particular road construction material, containing impurities with aromatic and/or aliphatic hydrocarbons, wherein the solid mixture is heated to a temperature below 570° C., wherein the solid mixture is heated in at least one heated rotating drum-like apparatus and is passed through at least one container and that the solid mixture is heated during or after the heating process, drum-like apparatus and is passed through at least one container, and in that the solid mixture is subjected to a negative pressure during heating or after heating, and in that the hydrocarbons are extracted from the heated solid mixture by the negative pressure and are rendered harmless by thermal combustion.

  • Publication number: 20220177367
Abstract: A method for drying building material slabs, in particular slabs containing gypsum, which are guided in floors (15) through an device divided into a drying pre-zone (2) and drying chambers and in which the slabs are brought into contact with drying air, characterized in that drying air is applied from the drying pre-zone (2) to the slabs in an area (1) arranged upstream of the pre-zone (2) and enclosed at least, with respect to the conveying direction of the boards, on both longitudinal sides and on the upper side.

  • Publication number: 20210018265
Abstract: A nozzle box (7, 7?) is arranged in a drying device in a transverse direction relative to a board (8) to be dried by means of drying air in the drying device. The nozzle box (7, 7?) has a tapered shape in at least one direction perpendicular to the direction of flow of the drying air in the nozzle box (7, 7?) and a drying surface provided with nozzles (18) and facing the board (8), wherein the drying air streams out of a plurality of nozzles (18) arranged in rows in the drying surface onto the board (8). The nozzle box (7, 7?) is characterized in that the ratio of the sum of the openings of the nozzles (18) per square meter to the drying surface is less than 1.1%.

  • Patent number: 9488411
Abstract: A method and device for drying sheets is described. The sheets are guided through a drier divided into drying chambers and brought in contact with the drying air by means of impinging jet aeration. The impinging-jet aeration utilizes cross-aerated nozzle boxes and the main drying stage exhaust air is introduced in the pressure chamber of one or more drying chambers in the first half of the final drying stage. Pan of the exhaust air in the recirculated-air operation is used for drying in the drying chamber and part of the exhaust air is introduced into the suction chamber of the respective subsequent drying chamber. The exhaust air collectively passes through the final drying stage in this manner, and the exhaust air from one or more drying chambers in the second half of said stage is extracted at a significantly lower temperature.
