Abstract: The invention relates to an orthodontic device which is particularly economical and as small as possible, and which has hooks and a small tube, produced from a sheet metal plate using stamping and bending techniques and without the use of welding or soldering. The orthodontic device comprises a base plate having a flat region with a gingival and an occlusal edge. An occlusal rolling forms the small tube. The gingival edge has a counter-directional rolling. Concave cuts are formed in the side edges in order to form wing-shaped hooks. Both rollings can hold an applicator/protector, with which the orthodontic device is protected during adhesion, and can then be applied to a tooth in the correct orientation.

Abstract: A particularly simple orthodontic bracket manufactured using cutting and bending technology, proposed for a number of different indications, includes a base plate having an adhesive side and a visible side, and an element for the guided retention of a treatment arch wire. The bracket is made in one piece and has, as a guiding element, a longitudinal guiding bulge extending mesio-distally and shaped out of the plane of the base plate. A treatment arch wire can be guided through beneath the guide bulge, such that it lies against the base plate.

Abstract: The bonding of orthodontic fixing elements in a precise position on the dental surface is extremely difficult. The invention relates to a kit for this purpose, consisting of orthodontic fixing elements (10), whose bonding surface (3) is curved in a convex manner in at least one direction. This ensures that the shape of the element is adapted to the tooth by means of the adhesive. According to the invention, a protector (20), equipped with a recess that forms the complement of the orthodontic fixing element, is provided. The orthodontic fixing element comprising the protector is applied by being held in an applicator (30), equipped with various direction locators (35-38), by means of a positive fit, in such a way that a correct positioning can be clearly identified.
