  • Patent number: 11325018
Abstract: A heel unit for a downhill or a combined downhill and alpine touring ski binding has a vertical-release functional group with a tensioning device with a first spring assembly for holding a ski boot downhill, and a horizontal-release functional group with a base plate to be positioned on the ski and a slide that deflects laterally opposing the ski longitudinal direction against the force of a second spring assembly, on which the vertical-release functional group is arranged, as well as with a compression spring assembly acting on the horizontal-release functional group. The vertical-release functional group rotates on the horizontal-release functional group around an axis running vertically towards the top of the ski or towards the vertical, such that, after a limited lateral deflection of the slide, the vertical-release functional group rotates against the force of the second spring assembly to release of the ski boot into the respective lateral-release direction.

  • Patent number: 10900256
Abstract: For simultaneous detection of the state of a locking element (12) and the state of the window or door, a lock (11) or fitting is provided, in which at least one coil (13) is arranged on the face plate (14) or on the strike plate, on the respective outer face thereof, wherein the coil (13) is arranged around the opening for the locking element (12). To determine the state of the door and the state of the bolt, an alternating voltage signal is applied to the coil (13), the impedance of the coil is determined, and said impedance is compared to predetermined values. To increase reliability, successive signals having different frequencies can be applied to the coil (13) and the impedance can be determined at said different frequencies and compared to predetermined values.

  • Patent number: 7275757
Abstract: An arrangement for longitudinal adjustment of two binding jaws of a ski binding has base parts which are guided for longitudinal displacement on guide elements attached to the ski. Strip-shaped or similar connecting elements extend parallel to one another in the direction of the other binding jaw. A fixing device interacts with the connecting elements. Raised portions of the connecting elements can be brought into and out of engagement with raised portions of the fixing device upon actuation of the fixing device by a relative movement parallel to the upper side of the ski. If the arrangement is blocked with ice or snow, functioning is ensured because the raised portions which can be brought into and out of engagement with one another are oriented essentially vertically in relation to the upper side of the ski.

  • Publication number: 20050212262
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for longitudinal adjustment of two binding jaws of a ski binding, which has base parts (1, 2) which are guided longitudinally displaceably on guide elements attached to the ski and to which in each case a connecting element (9, 10, 9?, 10?) of strip-shaped or similar design is connected, which connecting elements (9, 10, 9?, 10?) extend parallel to one another in the direction of the other binding jaw, a fixing device interacting with the two connecting elements (9, 10, 9?, 10?) being provided, on the actuation of which raised portions (11, 12, 11?, 12?) provided on the connecting elements (9, 10, 9?, 10?) can be brought into and out of engagement with raised portions (14, 14?) provided on the fixing device by a relative movement parallel to the upper side of the ski.
