Abstract: The Present invention provides for a biometric authentication system, the method implemented in the system, and its use, based on venous networks, to provide a highly available system for resilient biometric authentication that does not require the possession or the memorization of confidential information of users while ensuring security, while allowing to discard the template and the images of the vascular network while having a tamper-proof system.
