Abstract: A method for delivering multimedia data to a user device of a multimedia data delivery system is proposed, which includes, at a server device of the multimedia data delivery system, receiving, from the user device, a query message requesting service list data. The query message includes a parameter for querying custom service list data in relation to a user of the user device, and upon receiving the query message, generating a response message for transmission to the user device which includes a list of multimedia services customized for the user based on the parameter.

Abstract: A method for multicasting multimedia content to receivers, the method comprising: receiving, by a multicast middleware (MCMF) from a server (BMS), manifest files to access contents according to different adaptive bitrate streaming communication protocols, one of the manifest files being consistent with the MPEG-DASH protocol and describing media segments of a content, another of the manifest files being a master playlist consistent with the HLS protocol and defining locations where media playlists to access the media segments of the content are available; receiving, by the middleware from the server, the media segments of the content, transmitted in a multicast session, receiving, by the middleware from the server, the playlists, the received playlists referencing the media segments transmitted in the multicast session, and currently received by the middleware; and storing by the middleware the manifest files, the media segments and the playlists, to make them available to receivers (UD, UD1, UD2).

Abstract: A method for managing at least one communication network, including a first network including a mobility management entity. The method includes broadcasting, on a multicast IP address, an announcement message carrying an identifier of the mobility management entity; and receiving at least one attachment message from at least one entity for coordinating the broadcast in the first network or at least a second network of the at least one communication network, carrying an identifier of the broadcast coordination entity sending the attachment message.

Abstract: A method for accessing a service delivering content from a user terminal includes: transmitting a Uniform Resource Locator to a client module of the terminal, the URL including an identifier of a requested content and a command specifying a request or condition related to delivery to the user terminal of the requested content, if the requested content is available in the user terminal according to the specified condition, receiving the requested content from the client module, and if the requested content is not available in the user terminal according to the specified condition, transmitting the URL to a service broadcasting server.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transmitting data, comprising the steps of: encoding data to be transmitted in the form of source symbols (S) grouped into a data block (DB), distributing the source symbols of the data block in sub-blocks (SB), calculating for each sub-block a respective repair symbol (R1-R9) by a linear combination of source symbols of the sub-block, and transmitting the data block in a stream of data blocks, by successively transmitting each sub-block of the data block, each sub-block being transmitted by transmitting the source symbols of the sub-block, followed by the repair symbol of the sub-block.
