  • Patent number: 6621418
Abstract: The present invention relates to devices enabling a person moving along a given path to be warned against the presence on the path of objects that might present a danger for that person. The device of the invention is characterized essentially by the fact that it comprises object detection means 1, said detection means being suitable for delivering a detection signal on an output 2, a change of state in this signal being indicative of the presence of an object in a predetermined zone of the path, means 3 for connecting the connection means to a first portion 4 of the body of the person, and means 5 for converting the detection signal into an electrical function-stimulating signal acting on a second portion 6 of the body of the person.
