  • Patent number: 11358642
Abstract: A motor vehicle cradle structure includes at least two longitudinal side rails made of aluminium or aluminium alloy which are spaced apart transversely and at least one crossmember, of transverse orientation, made of aluminium or of aluminium alloy, which connects together the two longitudinal side rails. The crossmember is secured to the longitudinal side rails in a non-dissociable manner by bonding in combination with a fastening using rivets. The surfaces bonded together are spaced apart by a determined dimensional clearance able to accept glue or an adhesive agent.

  • Publication number: 20200062060
Abstract: A linking device links an aluminum side rail of a vehicle body structure and an end of a control arm that includes a cylindrical linking ring. The device remarkably includes an aluminum casting including an upper surface attached under the side rail, and a side wall from which emerges, perpendicular to an outer side surface, at least one first control arm interface including a pair of tabs separated from one another by an air-gap value greater than the length of the cylindrical ring, in order to set the end of the control arm.

  • Publication number: 20190359259
Abstract: The invention proposes a motor vehicle cradle structure (22) comprising:—at least two longitudinal side rails (30) made of aluminium or aluminium alloy which are spaced apart transversely;—at least one crossmember (32), of transverse orientation, made of aluminium or of aluminium alloy, which connects together the two longitudinal side rails (30); in which the crossmember (32) is secured to the longitudinal side rails (30) in a non-dissociable manner by bonding in combination with a fastening using rivets (90), characterized in that the surfaces bonded together are spaced apart by a determined dimensional clearance (j) able to accept glue or an adhesive agent.
