  • Patent number: 10555289
Abstract: A method for transmitting, by a terminal of a wireless communication system, uplink messages on an uplink to an access network. A sequence of NR uplink messages is formed. Each uplink message of the sequence includes a same useful data packet and control data having an identifier for identifying the uplink message from the NR uplink messages of the sequence. The uplink messages of the sequence are transmitted on different respective center frequencies. Also, a method for transmitting, by the access network, a downlink message in response to the sequence of uplink messages, on a center frequency determined from the measured center frequencies of the uplink messages of the sequence.

  • Patent number: 10505624
Abstract: A method is provided for transmitting a signal by a transmitter device to a satellite moving in orbit around the Earth, the transmitter device and the satellite including wireless telecommunication means. The method includes receiving, by the transmitter device, a signal transmitted by the satellite, termed the presence signal, analyzing a frequency shift induced by the Doppler effect on the presence signal received by the transmitter device, estimating a later change over time of the frequency shift starting from a later predetermined time of the beginning of transmission of the signal to be transmitted by the transmitter device and over a predetermined duration of the signal to be transmitted, and precompensating the later change over time estimated from the frequency shift on the signal to be transmitted.

  • Patent number: 10454730
Abstract: A method allowing a receiver device of a wireless communication system to receive a useful signal emitted by an emitter device. The useful signal corresponding to a signal, the phase or frequency of which is modulated by a sequence of two-state symbols corresponding to a sequence of binary data. A temporal envelope of the useful signal is detected and compared to a preset threshold value. Transitions between consecutive useful-signal symbols are detected, on the basis of the result of the comparison. A sequence of binary data is extracted from the useful signal depending on the detected transitions.

  • Publication number: 20190319697
Abstract: A method for transmitting a signal by a transmitter device to a satellite moving in orbit around the Earth, the transmitter device and the satellite including wireless telecommunication means. The method includes the following steps: receiving, by the transmitter device, a signal transmitted by the satellite, referred to as a presence signal, analyzing a frequency shift caused by Doppler effect on a main frequency of the presence signal received by the device, evaluating a proximity criterion between the transmitter device and the satellite on the basis of the analysis of the frequency shift, and transmitting a signal by the transmitter device if the proximity criterion is met.

  • Patent number: 10333665
Abstract: A wireless communication method between a plurality of terminals and an access network. The access network is configured to transmit downlink messages on a downlink in reply to uplink messages transmitted by the terminals. The access network includes a plurality of half-duplex base stations. Each terminal waiting for a downlink message in reply to a transmitted uplink message is configured to listen to the downlink in a listening window, the duration of which is at least five times that of the downlink message. The method includes the steps of determining if listening windows of terminals overlap. When an overlap allows the transmission of several downlink messages by a single base station, the downlink messages are transmitted grouped together in a single transmission window of the base station.
