Abstract: A locomotion device includes a chassis adapted to accommodate at least one user and which is supported-by ground engaging members. At least one of these members is mounted on a steering column articulated with respect to the chassis about an axis of rotation. The device includes a frame kinematically connected to the steering column and movable with respect to the chassis and adapted to come into contact with the ground with the frame making it possible to control rotation of the steering column about its axis.

Abstract: This locomotion device (1) comprises a chassis (2) adapted to accommodate at least one user and resting on the ground via engaging members, of wheel (5) or runner type, at least one of these members being mounted on a steering column (3) articulated with respect to the chassis (2), about an axis of rotation (A26). It further comprises a frame (7) kinematically connected to the steering column (3, 4), mobile with respect to the chassis (2) and adapted to come into contact with the ground (S), this frame (7) making it possible, by its movements (F1) with respect to the chassis (2) during abutments on the ground (S), to control rotation (F2) of the steering column (3) about its axis (A26).
