  • Patent number: 6746148
Abstract: The invention concerns a structural component made of hard material for a wristwatch, characterized in that it includes a hole fitted with an inner threading which is integral with said component, said threading being directly obtained by injection and thus without removing any material of said component for example by machining.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 26, 2002
Date of Patent: June 8, 2004
Assignees: Montres Rado SA, Comadur S.A.
Inventors: Michael Bach, Christophe Guerry, Olivier Bucher
  • Patent number: 6714400
Abstract: The invention concerns a particular link structure (1) for a wristwatch including decorative elements made of hard materials such as ceramics. The sintering step carried out during manufacturing of these decorative elements increase the maximum uncertainties on their dimensions. The parts thereby obtained consequently do not have sufficiently precise dimensions to avoid the appearance of gaps at their common junctions. In order to overcome this drawback, the link (1) according to the invention includes a mechanical device (17, 26, 29, 34, 37, 53) allowing a precise adjustment to be made of the relative positions of these different decorative elements and consequently continuous junctions to be obtained between them.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 28, 2002
Date of Patent: March 30, 2004
    Assignee: Montres Rado S.A.
Inventors: Christophe Guerry, Sébastien Bolzt, Steeve Gerber

  • Patent number: 6622469
Abstract: The wristband with links (2, 3, 4) includes a plurality of bars (5) acting as means for linking and articulating the links with each other and means for holding said bars in said links. Each bar is held axially by at least one of its ends (13) on to a link (2) by means of a collared sleeve (6) designed and arranged to abut against holding means (7, 8) carried both by the bar and the link.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 13, 2001
Date of Patent: September 23, 2003
    Assignee: Montres Rado S.A.

  • Patent number: 6345492
Abstract: The bracelet is formed of decorative elements (10) mounted on the links (20) of a chain (20). Each decorative element (10) includes over a portion of its length a central rib (16) and two lateral edges (18) connecting the cap (13) and feet (17, 19) made as an overthickness on the bottom (15). Each link includes on either side of a slot (2) two coupling elements (21, 31) connected by a bridge (7) provided with a pin hole (9), each having a lateral arm (28, 38) provided with a pin hole (29, 39) and forming with the bridge (7) a complementary recess (23, 33) of an extension (24, 34) provided with a pin hole (25, 35) at the other end. The bending of one link with respect to the following one is limited by blocking means provided either at the opposite pin holes or at recesses and extensions.
