  • Patent number: 11113487
Abstract: A spectacle lens includes a substrate and an anti-reflection or mirror interference coating covering the substrate on the side of the front face, the interference coating forming a one-dimensional or two-dimensional bar code pattern, the marking being formed by a plurality of point holes on a portion of a thickness of the interference coating, the front face having, away from the point holes, a coefficient of reflection of light having a predetermined nominal value and, in each the point hole, a coefficient of reflection of light having a particular predetermined value that is different from the nominal value.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 7, 2017
Date of Patent: September 7, 2021
    Assignee: Essilor International
Inventors: Sébastien Maurice, Christophe Hubert, Stéphane Auffray, Daniel Ferreira
  • Patent number: 11079615
Abstract: On a first aspect, the spectacle lens is selected as including a transparent support in which is coded an identifier readable by an external reading tool for retrieving the identifier. A distant server is contacted using the identifier and data related to the spectacle lens is so gathered. On a second aspect, data related to the spectacle lens is provided to a predetermined database. Upon receiving a request issued from a requester, the database is accessed and at least some of the data is retrieved, the request including at least part of the identifier, and the retrieved data is sent to the requester.

  • Patent number: 8330073
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for laser ablation of a surface coating from a wall, such as a painted wall finish, for example in a nuclear plant to be decontaminated, and a device for implementing said method. The inventive ablation method includes sweeping shots on the coating of at least one pulsed laser beam with a laser beam quality factor M2 less than 20, and characterized in that it comprises a direct control of said shots by optical deflection, such that the impact zones (I1, I2, I3,) of said shots on said coating are disjointed or substantially adjacent with minimized overlapping.

Date of Patent: December 11, 2012
    Assignee: Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique
Inventors: François Champonnois, Philippe Cormont, Marie Geleoc, Christophe Hubert, Christian Lascoutouna, Pierre-Yves Thro, Pascal Wodling

  • Publication number: 20080257873
Abstract: A method for producing periodic structures at the surface of a sol-gel type, hybrid organic-inorganic or organic material, characterised in that it includes the step of directly illuminating the material with a laser beam having a uniform intensity profile at near-normal incidence, while moving said material and said laser beam relative to each other.
