  • Patent number: 11979159
Abstract: A control device (2) for controlling power supply to a continuous-rotation motor, of the horological, DC type, is arranged to generate electrical pulses with a lower supply voltage to drive the rotor. The number of pulses per time interval is a function of the load applied to the motor. A voltage divider is arranged to supply the lower supply voltage with a plurality of different values and thus the electrical pulses with a variable voltage. A logic circuit counts the numbers of electrical pulses in successive time periods; to periodically select a voltage value, from among a plurality of different values, as a function of a counted number of electrical pulses or of a succession of counted numbers of electrical pulses; and to control the voltage divider so that the latter supplies the lower supply voltage with the selected voltage value after the selection of this voltage value.

  • Patent number: 10705004
Abstract: A diffusion cell is described that includes a receiver compartment and a tightening ring intended to be positioned above the receiver compartment in such a way that a membrane sample, such as a sample of a skin, can be arranged between the receiver compartment and the tightening ring. The cell further includes means for tightening by rotation of the tightening ring on the receiver compartment. Uses of such a diffusion cell, in particular for evaluating the penetration capacity of a compound of interest contained in an aerosol formulation, are also described. These uses can be applicable in an occlusive patch or semi-occlusive patch or in a formulation under occlusive or semi-occlusive conditions in the skin. The uses can also be implemented to evaluate the capacity of an aerosol formulation, an occlusive or semi-occlusive patch or a formulation under occlusive or semi-occlusive conditions to deliver a compound of interest through the skin.

  • Publication number: 20110051725
Abstract: A method of communicating traffic from a source to a group (G) of nodes including a Network Node (MNN) in a network using one or more multicast protocols. The network also comprises a Router (MR) for forwarding traffic between the network and the Internet and a Multicast Signalling Gateway (MSG) co-located with the Router (MR) and translating on an interface signalling messages of a multicast routing protocol (MRP) into messages of a group membership protocol (GMP). In the case of mobile networks, the interface is preferably an egress interface of the Mobile Router (MR). The Multicast Signalling Gateway (MSG) preferably translates multicast packets together with unicast source addresses and multicast destination addresses of multicast packets between IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.

  • Publication number: 20090113816
Abstract: In an architectural system, a triangular base engages an extension. The base includes three complete struts substantially aligned along their respective axes. These axes each intersect each other to form a triangle contained in a base plane. The triangle's vertices each correspond to a respective nucleus of nodes called A, B and C. This forms three base angles. The first angle has a positive value about equal to [j×20.9°+k×31.7°+m×36°+n×37.4°], where j, k, m and n are each an integer less than three. The second angle also has a positive value about equal to [q×20.9°+r×31.7°+s×36°+t×37.4°], where q, r, s and t are each an integer less than three. The third node engages the second and third complete struts and must be large enough to maintain the third base angle at a positive value less than 60°. At least one of the base triangle struts comprises two or more rigid pieces able to move apart so as to produce a strut elongation.

  • Patent number: 7318303
Abstract: A node-and-strut structure is made so as to include a “hyperstrut spine” of at least 6 to 10 similar “vertebrae.” Each such vertebra includes one “left-hand strut,” one “right-hand strut,” and one “primary” node rigidly engaging a proximal portion of the left hand strut and of the right hand strut. These vertebrae are arranged so that the primary nodes each intersect a primary axis, so that the left-hand struts are all (nominally) parallel with one another, and so that the right-hand struts are similarly all parallel with one another.

  • Patent number: 6311370
Abstract: A pole handle (1) equipped with a safety strap (3) having a connecting piece (11) fixed by snap-fastening into a housing in the handle so as to detach under the effect of a tensile force and which can be reattached to the handle repeatedly. The connecting piece (11) is held in the handle by a pair of projections (7, 8) and can detach from the handle by elastically deforming the projections under the effect of a tensile force directed at least approximiately along the axis of the pole.
