  • Publication number: 20220034152
Abstract: A spacer for insulating glass units, includes a U-shaped main body extending in the longitudinal direction including a first metallic side section, a second metallic side section arranged parallel thereto, a polymeric connecting piece extending in the transverse direction, which connects the two metallic side sections and forms the lower limit of the main body, and an intermediate space arranged above the polymeric connecting piece between the metallic side sections. The first and second metallic side sections each include a side wall for connecting to a glass pane and a retaining arm, which protrudes into the intermediate space, and the retaining arm forms an assembly groove with the side wall, which groove runs substantially parallel to the side wall. The polymeric connecting piece is U-shaped and its two legs are inserted into the assembly grooves of the two metallic side sections.

  • Patent number: 9376334
Abstract: A method for treating a liquid solution S1 is provided. The method may comprise a step of injecting said liquid solution S1 into a plasma immersed in a second liquid solution S2 separate from said liquid solution S1. In addition, a device capable of being applied in the context of such a method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 9045938
Abstract: A system for assembly between a connecting element and at least one cavity positioned on a surface portion situated on an edge face of a substrate, particularly made of a fragile material of glass type. The connecting element is configured to be accommodated in the cavity that has curved and retaining walls, the cavity being made at the edge face of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 7948146
Abstract: A clip for securing a sleeve to the body of a piezoelectric actuator in an actuator assembly, the clip taking the form of a band comprising first and second axially spaced ring-like members joined by a plurality of inwardly facing substantially arch shaped sections, the arch shaped sections defining the minimum inner diameter of the band, whereby axial displacement of the ring-like members way from one another causes flexing of the arch shaped sections to increase the minimum inner diameter of the band while axial displacement of the ring-like members towards one another causes flexing of the arch shaped sections to reduce the minimum inner diameter of the band thereby, when in use, to increase a clamping force applied to the sleeve.
