  • Patent number: 10364351
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a tank having high fluid-barrier properties. According to the invention, a specific polyamide composition containing impact-resistance modifying agents is used in a first step to produce components by means of injection moulding and, subsequently, said components are assembled in order to obtain the tank. The viscosity and gasoline permeability of the polyamide composition are sufficient to allow the production of tanks that provide an excellent trade-off between fluid-barrier properties and mechanical properties.

  • Patent number: 8097684
Abstract: Thermoplastic compositions containing a polyamide and/or polyester matrix and a variety of additives have high fluidity and can be shaped into plastic articles with good mechanical properties and an improved surface appearance.

  • Patent number: 7931959
Abstract: Polyamide compositions filled with fibers have good mechanical and rheological properties, the polyamide having a high fluidity in molten phase and the fibers, in particular glass fibers, being well aligned at both the surface and the core of shaped articles injection molded from such compositions.

  • Publication number: 20100305257
Abstract: Thermoplastic polymer compositions contain high-fluidity polyamides and have an excellent compromise in terms of properties, in particular mechanical properties and a high fluidity in the molten state; such compositions contain at least one high-fluidity polyamide and a high filler content, such as glass fibers.

  • Publication number: 20050051926
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing polyamide articles by rotomolding and to articles manufactured by this process. The process according to the invention includes in particular a step in which a polyamide-based powder is introduced into a rotomolding mold. The articles obtained by rotomolding may be hollow parts without welds, such as, for example, articles selected from the group consisting of containers, vats, flasks, cisterns, cases, boxes, tanks, bumpers, seats and bodywork parts.
