  • Patent number: 6098469
Abstract: Dynamometric detector device for bearings, with a strain transmitter fitted integral with a race and supporting a sensor. The strain transmitter and sensor support means includes the armature (7) of the bearing seal (8) and has a cylindrical bearing surface (11) mounted on a fixed race (1) of the bearing and extended radially by a disk-shaped element (13) supporting a sealing lip of the seal (8).

  • Patent number: 5913251
Abstract: A rotating shaft is fitted with two members for detecting magnetic field that are arranged symmetrically with respect to the shaft and are mounted on a first support fixed in line with a first point on the axis of the shaft. Two magnetic-field generators are arranged symmetrically with respect to the shaft and are mounted on a second support fixed in line with a second point on the axis of the shaft, the first point and the second point being axially offset from one another. The inner race of a first roller bearing is machined on the periphery of the shaft in line with the second point, where one of the supports, known as the main support, is attached.

  • Patent number: 5803419
Abstract: A support device including a clamping sleeve mountable in a hole and which applies a retaining force to a sensor. A wall of the sleeve bears an elastic means for locking the sleeve in the hole and an elastic means for axially retaining the sensor.

  • Patent number: 5755517
Abstract: A bearing comprises an inner race, an outer race mounted via rolling bodies around the inner race, one of the races being a rotatable race, and seals that seal the bearing. One of the seals incorporates an encoder element rotatable with the rotating race and includes an armature that has a radial extension extending along a lateral face of the rotating race. The radial extension compensates for the thickness of the device for fixing the sensor element. The present invention also relates to a wheel hub mounted via such a rolling-contact bearing.

  • Patent number: 5731529
Abstract: Two magnetic field generators are fixed symmetrically with respect to a shaft in a first plane perpendicular to the shaft, and two magnetic field detector units are fixed symmetrically with respect to the shaft, in a second plane parallel to, and axially offset with respect to, the first plane. The detector units deliver a signal proportional to the torque owing to the relative angular offset of the generators with respect to the detector units such that the plane median to the first plane and second plane passes through the point of maximum deflection of the shaft under a longitudinal flexion force.

  • Patent number: 5611545
Abstract: A seal for a rolling element bearing or rolling element bearing seat wherein a packing with sealing lips is in contact with two reinforcements to which the sensor and encoder are fastened. The reinforcements have a cylindrical mounting surface. One of the reinforcements is radially extended by a support surface and by a local radial extension for positioning and retaining for the sensor with respect to the encoder.
