  • Patent number: 8235617
Abstract: The unit (1) includes a packaging (2), an applicator (3), and a product P to be applied. The applicator (3) includes an application element (12) that is housed with the product P in a reservoir (8), an internal handling part (13) that is placed in a holding housing (11) which substantial relative rotation cannot occur. A part in the shape of a rod (14) is housed in a pipe (10) that the rod is rigid enough not to break when the packaging (2) is folded crosswise for the purpose of opening break. The unit (1) also includes two holding zones for the purpose of the break fold in a fragile transverse zone (16) with lower strength.

  • Patent number: 8235618
Abstract: Device for distributing a low volume or dose of product includes a reservoir defined by a joining area of two groups and that contains a distribution orifice, and an applicator including a grasping organ and a distribution organ composed of a rod, whose end is fitted with a distribution nozzle and whose other end is included in the grasping organ, at least one of the groups being a shell including a cavity having a collar that the joining area in part of and at least one of the groups has a collar including a trough; the distribution orifice communicating with the reservoir by a neck formed by the space between the two groups, the trough forming its wall at least partially; the neck including a breakable structure, breaking an area opening the orifice.

  • Publication number: 20100032452
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for dispensing at least one dose of fluid product sample, comprising: a device for dispensing said dose of product contained in a reservoir, two thin walls enclosing said device, each of said walls having an outer surface forming a support for being fixed on a flat document, or constituting an advertising medium, and a member for fixing the thin walls on the dispensing device. The member has a thickness not less than that of the dispensing device, such that said member prevents any direct pressure on said device. The member also has a generally flattened shape having a lateral surface with two opposite main parts, said lateral surface being inscribed substantially entirely between two parallel planes located proximate each other.

  • Publication number: 20090279937
Abstract: The unit (1) includes a packaging (2), an applicator (3), and a product P to be applied, whereby the applicator (3) includes an application element (12) that is housed with the product P in a reservoir (8), an internal handling part (13) that is placed in a holding housing (11), whereby substantial relative rotation cannot occur, and, between them, a part in the shape of an elongated rod (4), housed in a pipe (10), whereby this rod is rigid enough not to break when the packaging (2) is folded crosswise for the purpose of its opening break, whereby the unit (1) includes two holding zones for the purpose of the break fold in a line or fragile zone of lower strength (16), namely a zone (19) for gripping the packaging (2) formed by the outside face of a trough (10a), the outside face of a closing part opposite a closing piece (5), and the adjacent parts of the edges (6, 7) of a shell and the closing piece, and a zone (20) for gripping the applicator (3) that is formed by the outside face of the holding housing (1

  • Publication number: 20080010950
Abstract: A method of manufacturing at least one sample pouch from a film of flexible, heat-sealable material begins with providing a film of flexible, heat-sealing material with two opposing edges. Next, arrange the opposing edges on top of one another so as to form a body with a generally tubular wall. Next, heat-seal the opposing edges to form a longitudinal sealing area between the two ends of the body. Then, transversally heat-seal the wall of the body to form at least one transversal sealing area with a general rigidity. Then, fill the pouch with product and cut a shape in at least one transversal sealing area. The cut-out is made at a distance from the inner edge of the transversal sealing area. The cut-out has at least one part that is generally tiled in relation to the longitudinal and transversal directions of the pouch in order to guarantee the seal of the body while shaping the transversal sealing area in a given way.

  • Publication number: 20060260969
Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging backing (3) for packaging a sample product, said backing comprising a substantially thin plate made of a thermoformed material, the plate having a base face (5) and at least one recess (6) designed to receive the sample product (1), said recess presenting a height d and having an opening (7) provided in the base face (5), said plate also being provided with an array of projections (10) which extend from the base face (5), on the same side as the recess (6), said projections having a height substantially equal to d, so as to make it possible to distribute a pressure force exerted on the base face (5) of the plate. The invention also relates to a packaging assembly comprising such a packaging backing and a flexible film, and to an item of packaging comprising such an assembly and a sample product, as well as to a press publication in which an item of packaging is disposed, and to a set of press publications.
