  • Publication number: 20090133825
Abstract: A process for manufacturing an electronic display device comprising a substrate coated with a display having an active zone and a connection zone, the display being attached by an adhesive crosslinkable by radiation to a protective plate. This process comprises: a) application of the adhesive to the display and/or this plate; b) attachment, by bonding, of the plate to the display; c) radiation through the plate in order to crosslink the adhesive; then d) removal of one portion of the plate covering the connection zone, with a view to rendering the latter electrically accessible. Prior to step a) a masking layer that is opaque to the radiation is deposited so that it opposes the crosslinking of the adhesive applied opposite the sole connection zone, and after step d), removed from the connection zone is the uncrosslinked adhesive, which has not been removed with the portion of the protective plate.

  • Publication number: 20080224960
Abstract: The invention relates to an image display screen including: light emitters arranged as rows of light emitters and columns of light emitters, control means to control the emissions of the light emitters, including: a plurality of modulation transistors, each associated with one light emitter of the array, the said modulation transistors being positioned next to each other, along a guiding line, a plurality of compensating transistors intended to compensate for the threshold trigger voltage of the modulation transistors. A single compensating transistor is connected to all the modulation transistors of a column and is intended to compensate for the threshold trigger voltages of all the said modulation transistors of this column. This compensating transistor is formed in the extension of the said modulation transistors of a column along the same guiding line. The invention also relates to a method for driving this screen.

  • Publication number: 20080093994
Abstract: Image display screen suitable for displaying image frames, at a given screen scanning frequency, comprising, light emitters, circuits for addressing the emitters each comprising, a current modulator able to supply the said emitter with current during the screen display mode, a charge capacitance able to store at each image frame a potential applied to the gate electrode of the current modulator, the potential being representative of a voltage for addressing an image datum during a screen display mode. The screen comprises a control system able to apply a bias voltage to the gate electrode of the current modulator and to the said charge capacitance, during a screen standby mode of a duration greater than the duration of an image frame, the said bias voltage having a bias inverse to the bias of the potential applied to the said charge capacitance during the screen display mode.

  • Publication number: 20070057874
Abstract: The invention relates to an active-matrix image display device that comprises an array of light emitters. Each light emitter is controlled by a current modulator having a particular trip threshold voltage. The device also includes compensation means for compensating for the trip threshold voltage of the modulators. These compensation means comprise at least one operational amplifier connected between the gate electrode and the source electrode of the modulator. The feedback of this operational amplifier compensates for the trip threshold voltage of at least one modulator whatever the value of the said voltage.

  • Publication number: 20060232522
Abstract: The display comprises an array of pixel circuits each comprising an emitter 1 in series with a current modulation transistor, and at least one address circuit, which integrates, for each column, a differential amplifier and a passive element preferably a resistive element, which cooperate with the current modulation transistors so as to form, during address phases in which the emitters are switched “out of the circuit”, a voltage-programmable current generator. After the address phases, thanks to a suitable switch, the emitters are switched “into the circuit” and supplied with the preprogrammed current. Such a display allows the image display quality to be inexpensively improved.

  • Patent number: 6786166
Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquefied gas storage barge in the form of a concrete floating structure. The barge of the invention is essentially constituted by a floating structure (1) of reinforced and prestressed concrete containing tanks (2) for liquefied gas. Said tanks (2) are cylindrical tanks each having a cross-section perpendicular to its longitudinal axes that comprises a preferably circular curved portion (3) corresponding to the bottom of said tank, said portion being preferably a bottom half-circumference resting directly on the concrete bottom of the barge, which barge bottom is in the form of adjacent part-cylindrical troughs (3), each part-cylindrical trough having the same preferably circular, partially curved section in register with the bottom of each tank.
