    Abstract: A control device for making safe a fast vehicle comprises a servomechanism that, in response to a reference variable relating to the longitudinal speed of the vehicle, adapts in real time an actuator variable of a motor element of the vehicle until an actuator variable of a steering element corresponds to a reference variable relating to the transverse displacement of the vehicle, which makes it possible to make safe the longitudinal and transverse displacements of the vehicle, even at high longitudinal speed.
