  • Publication number: 20240120047
Abstract: A system receives medical data from multiple physiological monitor devices in various forms and formats. A data normalization process identifies each attribute type in the medical data reported by each device and assigns a unique attribute identifier. All parameters associated with an attribute are also identified and assigned a unique parameter identifier. The data normalization process uses this information to create a standardized data set for analysis. A rules processing engine applies alert and reporting rules to the standardized data set to generate a patient report and alerts for patient data that is beyond thresholds defined by the alert rules. The system provides default alert rules that may be overridden by clinic rule or manufacturer rules. Artificial intelligence (AI) principles may be applied using training set(s) of data to teach the rules processing engine to use the AI alert rules for data analysis.

  • Publication number: 20240086413
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for presenting search results are provided. In accordance with some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving text corresponding to a search query; determining whether a content rating score associated with the search query is below a predetermined threshold, wherein the score is calculated by: identifying a first plurality of search results retrieved using the search query, wherein each search result is associated with one of a plurality of content ratings classes; and calculating the content rating score that is a proportion of search results associated with at least one of the content ratings classes among the first plurality of search results; in response to determining that the content rating score is below the predetermined threshold, identifying a second plurality of search results to be presented based on the search query; and causing the second plurality of search results to be presented.

  • Patent number: 11915427
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle is described herein. The autonomous vehicle generates segmentation scenes based upon lidar data generated by a lidar sensor system of the autonomous vehicle. The lidar data includes points indicative of positions of objects in a driving environment of the autonomous vehicle. The segmentation scenes comprise regions that are indicative of the objects in the driving environment. The autonomous vehicle generates scores for each segmentation scene based upon characteristics of each segmentation scenes and selects a segmentation scene based upon the scores. The autonomous vehicle then operates based upon the segmentation scene.

  • Publication number: 20230280888
Abstract: A system and method whereby an user interface editing device is used to create a user interface for a controlling device, the created user interface including user interface elements that are associated with functional operations of a virtual equivalent of an appliance. After the created user interface is transferred to the controlling device, the virtual equivalent of an appliance is caused to be linked to an intended target appliance whereupon activation of those user interface elements of the graphical user interface that were associated with functional operations of the virtual equivalent of an appliance will cause the controlling device to transmit commands to control corresponding functional operations of the intended target appliance.

  • Publication number: 20230242308
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein includes a method of manufacturing a packaging apparatus including an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve. The method includes assembling the outer sleeve including a first glue lap and a bottom panel. Assembling the outer sleeve includes applying at least two glue lines on the first glue lap. Assembling the outer sleeve also includes folding the first glue lap onto the bottom panel such that the at least two glue lines adhere the first glue lap to the bottom panel. The method also includes assembling the inner sleeve using a second folder/gluer. The inner sleeve comprises a locking tab configured to interface the locking ridge of the outer sleeve to secure the inner sleeve within the outer sleeve. The method further includes assembling the packaging apparatus by inserting the inner sleeve into the outer sleeve.

  • Patent number: 11662189
Abstract: The present invention provides for a network connected training projectile that provides user feedback and is used to determine a trainee's proximity to an appropriately sized explosive blast zone. The invention solves the unmet need for close combat indirect fire (mortars and grenade launchers), or hand grenades which can be safely used in live training exercises. The invention further solves that such use is interactive with the training environment providing the ability to calculate the extent personnel participating in a training exercise would be affected by the training grenade in a real-life scenario. The invention further determines mortality of participants who would have been affected by the training grenade.

  • Publication number: 20220364817
Abstract: The present invention provides for systems, devices and methods for weapons modification to allow for use of real weapons in a simulated and augmented environment without exposing participants in the simulated and augmented training to risks of live ammunition. Embodiments of the invention provide an inexpensive and easily attachable/detachable appended system for the weapon which modifies or applies to a weapon in a simple fashion, and is capable of sensing necessary data for use in a simulated or synthetic training experience, and providing audio or tactile feedback to the firer, without rendering the weapon incapable of live fire use by simple detachment of hardware. Embodiments of the invention further provide an inexpensive and easily attachable/detachable weapon modification system that can provide all beneficial data capture, recording and transmission from a live fire weapon to either a simulated training system for processing, or other field use recording system.
