Patent number: 9117221Abstract: A delivery method and system of dynamic embedded web output on a web page in a browser on a client device is provided. A web page contains an embed code for an embeddable unit. A content delivery network provides an embedded URL specified in the embed code. The URL contains executable static runtime code using a unit ID. The unit ID is passed to a dynamic server which performs a lookup to convert the unit ID into a cache key URL. The cache key URL points to a location on the content delivery network and encodes a cache key containing information for the embeddable unit. The client device loads the cache key URL, which targets the content delivery network to make a request for the embeddable unit. The content delivery network serves the embeddable unit to the client device on which the embeddable unit is displayed or updated.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2012Date of Patent: August 25, 2015Assignee: Flite, Inc.Inventors: Giles Goodwin, Christopher Coco, Nelson Carpentier

Patent number: 8978559Abstract: A base insert for a cartridge case comprises a base end having a lip and a groove proximate the lip and having a primer pocket defined in the base end and an insert end having a base wall and a cylindrical wall extending there from, the base wall and cylindrical wall defining a powder fill pocket. The base wall has a flash hole disposed therein and an inner surface facing the powder fill pocket. The cylindrical wall has an inner surface intersecting with the inner surface of the base wall and an outer surface defining the outer circumference of the base insert. The intersection of the inner surface of the base wall and the inner surface of the cylindrical wall is curved or forms an oblique angle, while the outer surface of the insert end is not curved and does not form an oblique angle.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2013Date of Patent: March 17, 2015Assignee: Nylon Corporation of America, Inc.Inventors: Jack D Davies, Gregory Biederman, Christopher A Coco

Publication number: 20150065650Abstract: A method for the preparation of a biodegradable polyamide-based composition comprising glycine substantially uniformly dispersed into a polyamide matrix, the method comprising: first mixing more than 2 weight percent glycine, at least one polyamide-producing monomer, and optionally water or other additives, to form a suspension wherein the glycine is substantially uniformly dispersed therein; then polymerizing the at least one polyamide-producing monomer with the glycine substantially uniformly dispersed in situ to provide a polyamide matrix wherein the glycine remains substantially uniformly dispersed in the resulting polyamide matrix to form the biodegradable polyamide-based composition.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 27, 2014Publication date: March 5, 2015Inventors: Jack Davies, Gregory J. Biederman, Christopher A. Coco

Patent number: 8883917Abstract: A method for the preparation of a polyamide-based composition provides for the substantially uniform dispersion of particulate silica and, optionally, mineral oil and any other lubricant additive, within a polyamide matrix. The method includes mixing particulate silica, and optionally, mineral oil and other lubricant additives, to one or more polyamide-producing monomers, and water, to form an emulsion or suspension wherein the particulate silica (and mineral oil and other lubricant additives, when added) are substantially uniformly dispersed therein, and then in situ polymerizing the monomer(s) to provide a polyamide matrix wherein the particulate silica, and optional mineral oil and other optional lubricant additives, remain substantially uniformly dispersed in the resulting polyamide matrix to form the polyamide-based composition.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2012Date of Patent: November 11, 2014Assignee: Nylon Corporation of America, Inc.Inventors: Jack D. Davies, Gregory J. Biederman, Christopher A. Coco

Publication number: 20090327079Abstract: A system and method of managing delivery of data files receives a user request for a data file and determines a user profile and permission level based upon the received user request. The system and method establishes a delivery file path for the requested data file based upon the user profile and permission level, prioritizes delivery of the requested file based upon the user profile and permission level, and delivers the requested file using the established file path and the prioritization determination. A requester may upgrade their user profile and permission level to gain performance resources to access requested files, and the system re-prioritizes deliveries based on the new levels. If sufficient resources are not available to service a user request, the request enters a delivery queue based upon the user profile and permission level. When resources are available, the system delivers the requested file.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 25, 2008Publication date: December 31, 2009Applicant: CNET NETWORKS, INC.Inventors: Sam Parker, Todd Colletti, Edmond Meinfelder, Christopher Coco, John Zorko
