  • Patent number: 12283911
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for braking a translator of a linear multiphase electromagnetic machine. The system detects a fault event. A polarity indicative of an electromotive force in determined in at least one phase of the linear multiphase electromagnetic machine caused by a motion of the translator. In response to detecting the fault event, the system causes, based on the polarity, a current to be applied to a respective phase of the at least one phase to cause a force acting on the translator that opposes an axial motion of the translator to cause the translator to brake. Braking includes causing the translator to reciprocate at a reduced velocity by opposing axial motion over one or more cycles. The system may use one or more of position information, current information, operating parameters, to brake, or may brake the translator independent of such information.

  • Publication number: 20250125942
Abstract: Techniques for disintermediating a network path between a source and a destination are described. In an example, the source sends a first packet destined to a destination. A network node on the network path between the source and the destination performs a network operation on this packet and generates a set of instructions indicating the network operation and parameters used for performing the network operations. This set of instructions is sent to the source as a flow update. When the source needs to send a second packet to the destination, the source applies the instructions to the second packet. As such, a similar network operation is performed on the second packet at the source, thereby avoiding the need to send the second packet on the same network path that includes the network node. Accordingly, the second packet is sent on a different network path that bypasses the network node.

  • Publication number: 20250126024
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for generating a computing network from natural language descriptions of the computing network are provided. In one or more examples, the systems and methods described below can be used harvest publicly available (or even privately available) natural language descriptions of a computing network, and convert those descriptions into an operational replica of the described computing network. By harvesting both publicly available data, as well as other resources, the systems and methods described herein can allow for an analyst tasked with analyzing a given computing network to generate a fully operational replica of the computing network without having to have direct access to the network. In one or more examples, the analyst can recreate a fully-functional replica of the network to be analyzed based on partial descriptions of the computing network, thereby greatly improving the level of analysis capable of being performed.

  • Patent number: 12256912
Abstract: A harvesting assembly for harvesting a tissue graft from surrounding tissue is disclosed including a guide. The guide includes a means for fixedly engaging with an anterior surface of the tendon. The guide also includes a means of guiding a cutting blade along a preferred trajectory into and along a length of the tendon. The guide also includes a means of guiding a truncating blade along a preferred trajectory across a width of tendon. The cutting blade may include two parallel blades for forming lateral sides of the tendon graft simultaneously. Each of the two parallel blades may define a leading edge that extends along at least a 90 degree arc that is equidistant from a stop on the cutting blade. The stop in combination with the guide may limit a cut depth into the tendon for a range of cutting blade handle elevation angles.
