Abstract: A crossover tool has an internal sleeve rotatably positioned within an external sleeve, and each of the sleeves has ports alignable with ports on the other sleeve. After deploying the crossover tool downhole and diverting fluid flow below the tool, fluid flow communicated into the internal sleeve tends to rotate it relative to the external sleeve until the ports are substantially aligned so that wear to the components is substantially reduced. The ports themselves may facilitate the rotation and alignment. For example, ports on the internal sleeve may produce tangentially exiting fluid flow. Alternatively, an additional outlet may be defined in the internal sleeve and eccentrically located to its rotation axis. Furthermore, an internal sleeve or insert may partially block fluid flow through the ports to allow greater fluid flow through the additional outlet to enhance rotation of the internal sleeve.

Abstract: Expression vectors and methods of their use for enhancing the production of recombinant proteins in plants or plant cells are described. Production can be further enhanced upon co-expression of the P19 suppressor of gene-silencing from tomato bushy stunt virus. Preferably, the recombinant proteins are therapeutic enzymes and/or antibodies and methods are carried out in Nicotiana benthamiana—optionally an RNAi-based glycomodified strain—or in the Nicotiana tabacum cultivar Little Crittenden.

Abstract: A device and corresponding methods for applying a coating material are disclosed. The method may include applying a first coating material on a threaded region of an opening in a multi-piece assembly, and inserting at least one fastener to the threaded region. The fastener may include a mating thread selectively secured to the threaded region of the opening to create a first friction interface between the fastener and the multi-piece assembly. The method may further include tensioning the fastener between a load surface of the multi-piece assembly and the mating thread. In one example, the load surface may define in part a second friction interface between the fastener and the multi-piece assembly that is spaced away from the threaded region such that the first coating material does not influence the second friction interface. In another example, the first coating material may be applied in a substantially uniform thickness.

Abstract: A system and method for managing content are provided herein. The method includes accepting a content entry related to a product. The method also includes receiving a content rating for the content entry from a user. Additionally, the method includes calculating a combined rating for the content entry based at least in part on the content rating. Furthermore, the method includes determining a persistent status of the content entry based on the combined rating.

The message may include an instruction for displaying a social media application at the second client machine. Abstract: Method and Apparatus for Reducing Ink Foaming in a Continuous Inkjet Printer The invention provides a method of and apparatus for reducing foam formation in the returned ink in a continuous inkjet printer. The returned ink is subjected to deceleration and is reduced in pressure, preferably by being directed into a sub-chamber which reverses the direction of flow and provides an elevated edge over which the ink overflows. The de-aeration facility is preferably incorporated in an ink service module.

According to various embodiments, a personalized content guide may be transmitted to a first client machine. The first client machine may be associated with a content management account. The personalized content guide may include a plurality of media content channels created based on media content viewing history information associated with the content management account. Each of the media content channels including a respective plurality of media content items available for presentation in association with the content management account. A message indicating a selection of one of the media content items may be received from the first client machine. The photobioreactors are also adapted for measurement of multiple physiological parameters of a biomass contained therein. Various methods for selecting and characterizing biomass are also provided. In one embodiment, the biomass is algae.

Abstract: A gravel pack assembly has a longitudinal body that disposes in a borehole. A wellscreen and other components can connect to the body to complete the assembly. One or more packoff seals or bushings disposed in the body's inner passage can engage a smooth external surface of a crossover tool when disposed therein. This sealing prevents passage of sand and fluids between the tool and the assembly's inner passage. Moreover, the smooth external surface makes the tool less likely of becoming stuck in the inner passage. The packoff seals or bushings can be fixed or activated by movement to engage the smooth external surface of the crossover tool.
