Abstract: The invention comprises a method and apparatus for sampling a common tissue volume and/or a common skin layer skin of a person as a part of noninvasively determining an analyte property with an analyzer including: a set of detectors at least partially embedded in a probe housing, the probe housing comprising a sample side surface, the detectors including a first and second range of detection zones of differing radial distances from a first illumination zone and second illumination zone, respectively coupled to separate sources, with surface paths between the sources and detectors overlapping a common skin area during use.

Abstract: An ad system for use in a virtual environment. The ad system includes an ad engine integrated in an advertising enabled application, an advertising scheduling system, reporting software, impression metric processing software, and billing components wherein coordinates of ad object and camera data were made available to the ad engine during development of the application. Related methods of developing advertising enabled application software including an ad engine and use of a computer system for delivering ad content within a virtual environment are also provided.

Abstract: A method for reducing dioxin levels from a sludge disposal process comprising: (a) adding a halogenation supressant to a composition containing dioxin precursors, (b) incinerating the composition containing dioxin precursors, thereby forming a gaseous medium, (c) reducing heat in the gaseous medium formed in step (b), (d) removing ash from the gaseous medium, (e) adding an adsorbent to the gaseous medium formed in step (d), and (f) removing acid gases and particulates from the gaseous medium formed in step (e).
