Abstract: An audio visual homing marker includes a shock-resistant housing with a power supply, audio speaker and LED array inside the housing. A power switch is attached to the housing and the power supply. The housing includes a plurality of bulkheads that create a plurality of chambers. The power supply, the audio speaker and the LED array are each contained within separate chambers. The power switch is biased to the on position. The housing is a generally cylindrical polycarbonate structure and may be a transparent material. The LED array may include a plurality of LEDs attached around the perimeter of the housing. The audio speaker can be a siren or other loud speaker. The LED array may emit a visible or non-visible light. A variety of holders and dispensers make it easy to deploy the markers from a car or aircraft.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a contact center, comprising: (a) a plurality of media servers 112a-n, each of the media servers being associated with a plurality of corresponding agent communication devices 120a-i positioned in a respective agent domain 100a-n; (b) a plurality of gateways 128a-n, each of which is currently controlled by a corresponding one of the plurality of media servers 112a-n and positioned in a contactor domain 104; and (c) a packet-switched Wide Area Network (WAN) 108 connecting the plurality of media servers 128a-n and the plurality of gateways 112a-n.

Abstract: A vehicle immobilization system has an electronically controlled locking mechanism which requires interconnection with an electrical supply for it to be switched between a locked state and an unlocked state. The locking mechanism remains in the state to which it is switched when disconnected from the electrical supply. The immobilization system includes control means which operates to connect the locking mechanism to the electrical supply to switch it from one state to the other, and to disconnect the locking mechanism from the electrical supply when the vehicle engine is running or the vehicle is moving. The immobilization system also includes means to prevent cranking of the engine when the locking mechanism is in it's locked state.
