  • Publication number: 20230195136
Abstract: A system for providing a position for an agricultural vehicle. The system includes a first receiver structured to be coupled to a first vehicle, the first receiver configured to receive position correction information from an external source and determine a first position of the first receiver in three dimensions using the position correction information. The system also includes a second receiver structured to be coupled to a second vehicle and configured to determine a second position of the second receiver, wherein the first receiver is configured to determine the first position using the position correction information at a higher level of accuracy than the second receiver is configured to determine the second position.

  • Patent number: 11048938
Abstract: A method for recognizing individual plants of a selected type growing in a field, wherein the method comprises capturing color NIR image data of an entire field having plants of a selected type growing therein utilizing an automated plant counting system and calculating a ratio value between each pixel of the color image data and the corresponding pixel of the NIR image data utilizing a plant recognition algorithm executed via a data processing system of the plant counting system. The method additionally comprises generating, via execution of the plant recognition algorithm, a false color image of the field based on the calculated ratios for each pixel, and identifying, via execution of the plant recognition algorithm, all plants of the selected type in the false color image based on a plant distinguishing characteristic uniquely rendered for each individual plant of the selected type in the false color image.

  • Patent number: 9635799
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a transformable agricultural planter that is structured and operable to transform to a Transport Configuration wherein a width of the planter is less than or equal to a Department Of Transportation maximum load width for which special ‘Wide Load’ permits are not required. The planter includes a support cart including a telescoping support axle having a plurality of wheel assemblies mounted thereto and a plurality of actuators connected to the telescoping support axle. The actuators are operable to extend and retract the telescoping support axle such that a spacing between the wheel assemblies can be set to any desired distance. The planter additionally includes a main toolbar assembly connected a toolbar lift and spin assembly rotatably mounted to the support cart and operable to rotate, raise and lower the main toolbar assembly between the Transport Configuration and a Planting Configuration.

  • Publication number: 20150134684
Abstract: Methods, techniques, and systems for gathering social media content are provided. Some embodiments provide a Social Intelligence System (“SIS”) configured to provide dynamic search capability of a content source by using a proxy server system as an intermediary between the SIS and the content source. The SIS may then dynamically determine a rate at which it searches for content based on a rate of change or predicted change of a particular content source. Dynamically determining a rate allows the SIS to track a particular topic or series of topics over time, while only searching for content on the topic at the most optimal time periods to reduce overall cost.
