    Abstract: An augmentor liner cooling holes are judiciously shaped and discretely located so as to optimize film cooling of the liner. The "kidney" shaped holes are circumferentially spaced on the upstream end of each of the corrugations and are preferably paired in two adjacent rows in a staggered configuration so as to lay a generally uniform circumferential layer of film cooling air internally of the liner.
