Publication number: 20250060931Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods that allow activation of and intuitive interactions with a companion-display mode for an electronic device. In one aspect, a first device receives a request to annotate content on the first device. In accordance with a determination that a second device is available for displaying the content in an annotation mode and has not been previously approved to display the content in the annotation mode, the first device displays a selectable option that, when selected, causes the first device to send an instruction to display the content in the annotation mode at the second device. When the electronic device is available for displaying the content in the annotation mode and has previously been approved to display the content in the annotation mode, the first device sends an instruction to the second device to display the content in the annotation mode automatically without further user intervention.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2024Publication date: February 20, 2025Inventors: Raymond S. Sepulveda, Chun Kin Minor Wong, John O. Louch, Christopher N. Ryan, Kevin J. Van Vechten, Patrick L. Coffman, Richard R. Dellinger

Patent number: 9249053Abstract: The present invention provides a composite wall panel with good thermal insulation and sufficient strength for structural use which is designed for the fabrication of energy efficient building. The composite wall panel of the present invention comprises a foamed concrete core with sufficient compressive strength and low thermal conductivity which is sandwiched between two lightweight ductile fiber reinforced cementitious composite (FRCC) protective layers with low thermal conductivity, good barrier resistance to moisture/chloride ion/gas, multiple cracking as well as certain amount of steel reinforcements. These composite wall panels are useful in a variety of buildings in both cold and hot regions.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2013Date of Patent: February 2, 2016Assignee: NANO AND ADVANCED MATERIALS INSTITUTE LIMITEDInventors: Christopher Kin Ying Leung, Kwok Fai Cheung, Honggang Zhu, Sze Wai Lin
