  • Patent number: 8549047
Abstract: Techniques for providing feed-based case management on an online social network. A user interface that includes a publisher and an information feed is provided. Information associated with a record is received and the record is updated in a database system. A feed item associated with the database system update is generated and provided in the information feed. The feed item includes one or more actionable selections providing a reference to the publisher. Selection of one of the one or more actionable selections causes the publisher to be operable to receive further information associated with the record. The record is capable of being updated based on the further information. In some implementations, the record is a case and the user interface serves as a single interface for all interactions required in solving the case.

  • Patent number: 8329046
Abstract: Methods for performing damage etch and texturing of single crystal silicon substrates, particularly for use as solar cells or photovoltaic cells. Damage etch with a TMAH solution followed by texturing using solution of KOH or NaOH mixed with IPA is particularly advantageous. The substitution of some of the IPA with ethylene glycol further improves results. Also disclosed is a process that combines both damage etch and texturing etch into a single step.

  • Publication number: 20110023389
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a modular deck tile is designed to allow for the easy installation of roof top or balcony decks over existing surfaces, such as rolled roofing, waterproof or impermeable membranes. Advantages include the ability to be installed on a roof top surface without penetrating any waterproof membrane layers and cause leaking. The deck tiles may be made with recycled fiber composite decking or high density foam modular tiles. In another exemplary embodiment, the deck tile comprises an interlocking polyethylene base configured for the attachment of composite products or high density foam to be attached either in variety of shape configurations and in a variety of colors.

  • Publication number: 20060243179
Abstract: Left and right main hoppers offset laterally from each other on opposite sides of the centerline of a seeding machine provide an operator access area between the hoppers. A third hopper located forwardly of and between the two main hoppers has a capacity less than that of each of the main hoppers for refuge or male seed. The hoppers are sized to maximize productivity. In one embodiment, first and second hoppers communicate with downstream conduit structure, and valve structure selects one or the other of the first and second hoppers for delivery of the material. The valve structure can be operated remotely and can be map based. Alternatviely, selectively blockable nozzle structure is located in the first and second hoppers. Easily changeable connector structure facilitates row pattern selection and hose routing.

  • Publication number: 20050235890
Abstract: A product-on-demand delivery system for agricultural product overcomes the problem of over pressuring near application units in order to achieve sufficient pressure to feed further application units. The invention provides two or more main hoppers, each hopper pressurized to a different level by a fan that charges the air nozzles on the hoppers. The near row application units have product delivery hoses that are coupled to a first hopper. The far row application units have longer product delivery hoses that are coupled to a second hopper. The fan charging the second hopper is configured to pressurize the second hopper to a higher pressure than the pressure of the first hopper. The invention provides separate product-on-demand delivery systems to better control the product flow to the row application units on the machine. A product-on-demand delivery system is also provided that can dispense two different products from two main hoppers operated at different pressures.

  • Patent number: 6776036
Abstract: A mass fluid flow sensor for determining the amount of fluid inducted into an internal combustion engine, for example, is disclosed. The mass fluid flow sensor includes an external intake fluid temperature element which improves the accuracy of the mass fluid reading. An external cold wire element is further provided which improves response time. The mass fluid flow sensor has an improved aerodynamic design which provides a lower system pressure drop. Moreover, the sensor is smaller and lighter and has fewer parts, thus providing better manufacturability. A molded one-piece isolated jet nozzle having a hot element disposed therein is included in the fluid sampling portion. Consequently, an improved lower internal flow passage pressure drop is achieved. Additionally, an improved signal to noise ratio, as well as a larger dynamic range is an advantageous consequence of the present invention. The present invention further provides improved electromagnetic interference performance.

  • Patent number: 5611876
Abstract: A packaging assembly for a semiconductor circuit chip is formed of a hermetically sealable, `tub`-like structure. The tub-like structure is comprised a laminated stack of thin layers of low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) material. The laminated stack of LTCC layers contains an internally distributed network of interconnect links through which a semiconductor die, that has been mounted at a floor portion of the tub, may be electrically connected to a plurality of conductive recesses or pockets located at top and bottom sidewall edge portions of the tub, thereby allowing multiple tubs to be joined together as a hermetically sealed assembly and electrically interconnected at the conductive pockets of adjacent tubs.
