  • Patent number: 11588702
Abstract: Systems and methods include receiving data from a network that includes a plurality of network elements that operate at a plurality levels that include any of network layers and encapsulations; displaying any of the plurality of network elements as a three-dimensional icon on a network map; illustrating a plinth in the three-dimensional icon for each of the plurality of levels for each network element of the any of the plurality of network elements, wherein a plinth at each level indicates a corresponding network element participates in that level; and illustrating horizontal connectivity as links between any of the network elements via associated plinths.

  • Patent number: 7971433
Abstract: A system and method for treating exhaust gasses from an engine is described. In one example, the exhaust gasses are routed from the engine to atmosphere through a helical exhaust passage. The helical exhaust passage includes a plurality of spatially separated exhaust passages that separates the exhaust flow into separated smaller flows, wherein the smaller flows are re-introduced into a common passage and re-combined to form a single exhaust flow, and wherein the plurality of spatially separated exhaust passages induces a helical flow pattern within the re-combined exhaust flow.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 5, 2011

  • Publication number: 20090205327
Abstract: A system for treating exhaust gasses from an engine is described. The system includes, the exhaust gasses routed from the engine to atmosphere through a helical exhaust passage, the system comprises an exhaust passage that receives an exhaust flow injected with a liquid reductant, the helical exhaust passage including a plurality of exhaust passages that separates the exhaust flow into separated smaller flows, wherein the smaller flows are re-introduced into a common passage and combine to form a single exhaust flow, and wherein the orientation of the plurality of exhaust passages impels the single exhaust flow to exhibit a helical flow pattern.

  • Patent number: 6807958
Abstract: A valve assembly and method for controlling flow of gases through a passage between an engine crankcase and an engine intake manifold is provided. The method includes decreasing a flow of gases through the passage between the crankcase and the intake manifold when a temperature of the gases is greater than a predetermined temperature.

  • Patent number: 6171175
Abstract: Method of automatic finishing of a free-form contoured metal or hard die surface, comprising: providing a rotating brush with a central hub carried by a driving spindle for rotation about the hub axis; providing the brush hub with a plurality of closely spaced resilient and independently flexible strands possessing abrasive polishing particles, each strand being secured at one end in the hub and having its other end extending radially away therefrom to present an apparent curved surface of closely spaced strand ends (the series of touching or closely spaced strand ends forming at least a portion of a spherical surface); and rotatingly driving the hub and strands at a constant torque while dragging the ends of said strands across the die surface while in contact therewith to effect the desired degree of polishing. The coating of abrasive polishing particles can be selected from the group of aluminum oxide, silicon oxide or silicon carbide.

  • Patent number: 4231610
Abstract: An anchoring and locking structure for a camper body adapted to be mounted on the rear of a pick-up type truck. The structure comprises rail-like members which are secured to the underside or bottom of the camper body coupled with mating rail-like members secured to a shaft or post which extend into openings formed in the sides of the truck body. The aforesaid rail-like members engage with one another and are retained in assembled relationship by a wing nut which extends from one of the rail-like members and engages the other said rail-like member. A locking member extends within one of the openings in the side of the truck body and release mechanisms extend between the bottom or floor of the camper and the truck body sides so as to enable one to release the locking mechanisms when it is desired to remove the camper body from the pickup truck.
