  • Patent number: 11972923
Abstract: Methods and systems for creating attachments between a sample manipulator and a sample within a charged particle systems are disclosed herein. Methods include translating a sample manipulator so that it is proximate to a sample, and milling portions of the sample manipulator such that portions are removed. The portion of the sample manipulator proximate to the sample is composed of a high sputter yield material, and the high sputter yield material may be the material milled with the charged particle beam such that it is removed from the sample manipulator. According to the present disclosure, the portions of the sample manipulator are milled such that at least some of the removed high sputter yield material redeposits to form an attachment between the sample manipulator and the sample.

  • Patent number: 11961838
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are in the field of advanced integrated circuit structure fabrication and, in particular, 10 nanometer node and smaller integrated circuit structure fabrication and the resulting structures. In an example, an integrated circuit structure includes a first isolation structure over a first end of a fin. A gate structure is over the fin and is spaced apart from the first isolation structure along the direction. A second isolation structure is over a second end of the fin, the second end opposite the first end. The second isolation structure is spaced apart from the gate structure. The first isolation structure and the second isolation structure both comprise a first dielectric material laterally surrounding a recessed second dielectric material distinct from the first dielectric material. The recessed second dielectric material laterally surrounds at least a portion of a third dielectric material different from the first and second dielectric materials.

  • Patent number: 11934278
Abstract: A data storage library is described that protects against a malware attack by providing a scheduled write window of time where archive data can be written to tape cartridges in the tape library on behalf of a client. At times outside of the write window, the tape library is disabled from writing any archive data to any of the tape cartridges in the tape library. Accordingly, the tape library is protected from a malicious entity attempting to download malware to tape cartridges in the tape library outside of the designated write windows. The tape library is configured to provide or otherwise read archived data from a tape cartridge both in the write window and outside of the write window.

  • Patent number: 11916430
Abstract: A disclosed information handling system is coupled to a power adapter that is coupled to an AC line power source. The system includes an embedded controller storing instructions executable to determine that a trigger condition for limiting electrical power drawn by the system from the power adapter is met and, in response to the determination and in accordance with a low power operating mode, to limit electrical power drawn from the power adapter by the system to an amount less than or equal to the lesser of a power rating of the power adapter and a capacity of the AC line power source to supply electrical power. Limiting the electrical power drawn from the power adapter may include limiting the electrical power consumed by operation of the system or limiting a rate at which an internal battery of the system is charged by electrical power supplied by the power adapter.

  • Publication number: 20230385862
Abstract: A targeted advertising scheduling and displaying process in the context of product terminal displays is made possible by the present invention. An embodiment described herein provides for a first server retrieving digital content from CMS. The first server formats the digital content to be output by at least one product terminal of a plurality of product terminals in accordance with one or more characteristics of the at least one product terminal. Each product terminal of the plurality of product terminals is disposed in a fixed location remote from the first server. The server identifies the at least one product terminal from the plurality of product terminals to output the formatted digital content and causes output of the formatted digital content by the at least one product terminal by transmitting the formatted digital content to a second server associated with the at least one product terminal.

  • Publication number: 20230316309
Abstract: A targeted advertising scheduling and displaying process in the context of product terminal displays is made possible by systems and methods as disclosed herein. A graphical user interface (GUI) allows a content provider to select digital content and display timing instructions, which the associated server will ultimately send to a server associated with the product terminal displays by first sending data that references the digital content and includes the display timing instructions, and then sending the digital content itself in response to the execution of the data at the server associated with the product terminal displays. Using this claimed technique and system, a content provider can target digital content to particular product terminal displays.

  • Publication number: 20230315696
Abstract: A tiered storage arrangement is contemplated that provides high speed tier 1 storage for rapid access to recalled data, mid-speed tier 2 storage for data that is not frequently recalled and tier 3 storage for archive purposes that may include tape library storage and even cold storage in vaults. Embodiments contemplate a server linked to all tiered storage devices on one end and a host computer on another. Data files can be migrated between the tiered storage systems based on migration policies, such as time elapsed from being filed or last accessed. Also, embodiments contemplate a time bar displayed at the host computer that provides accurate time predictions of data recall including information of the kind of storage on which a target file is stored and the pathway to recall the target file/s locally to the host computer.
