  • Patent number: 12236825
Abstract: A redundant pixel layout for a display comprises a display substrate and an array of pixels disposed on or over the display substrate. Each pixel comprises a first subpixel and a redundant second subpixel. The first subpixel includes a first subpixel controller electrically connected to controller wires and a first light emitter electrically connected to a first-light-emitter wire. The first light emitter is controlled by the first subpixel controller through the first-light-emitter wire. The second subpixel includes a second-subpixel-controller location connected to the controller wires and a second-light-emitter location comprising a second-light-emitter wire. The first light emitter is adjacent to the second-light-emitter location and the first light emitter and the second-light-emitter location are closer together than are any two pixels in the array of pixels.

  • Publication number: 20250057278
Abstract: A bicycle helmet adapted to be used with eyewear includes an impact-absorbing body, a resilient wiper, and an alignment feature. The impact-absorbing body has a convex exterior surface and a concave interior surface adapted to be positioned on a user's head. The impact-absorbing body further includes an aperture formed in the exterior surface and dimensioned to permit insertion of a portion of the eyewear into the aperture along an insertion axis. The resilient wiper is positioned at least partially in the aperture and arranged to engage the portion of the eyewear upon insertion into the aperture. • Publication number: 20250046751
Abstract: Methods of making a printed structure include providing a target substrate, coating the target substrate with an uncured adhesive, disposing a component on the uncured adhesive, processing the uncured adhesive with or without a pattern, and curing the uncured adhesive. Some embodiments include having a target-substrate contact pad on the target substrate, disposing a post component on the uncured adhesive over the target-substrate contact pad, the post component having an electrical connection extending from the post component toward the target-substrate contact pad, disposing a non-post component on the uncured adhesive laterally displaced from the post component, pattern-wise processing the uncured adhesive so that a first portion of the uncured adhesive adjacent to the post component is not processed and a second portion of the uncured adhesive adjacent to the non-post component is processed, reflowing the unprocessed first portion of the uncured adhesive, and curing the uncured adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20250020421
Abstract: A method for laser cooling an object crystal comprising at least two atomic objects and confined by a confinement apparatus is provided. A controller controls one or more manipulation sources to cause a first instance of manipulation signals to be incident on the object crystal at a target location defined at least in part by the confinement apparatus. The manipulation signals are configured to laser cool a first motional mode of the object crystal. The controller causes an adiabatic transfer of phonons from a second motional mode of the object crystal to the first motional mode of the object crystal. The controller controls the one or more manipulation sources to cause a second instance of the manipulation signals to be incident on the object crystal at the target location. The manipulation signals are configured to laser cool the first motional mode of the object crystal.

  • Publication number: 20240318503
Abstract: An adjustable drilling rig is provided for drilling and installation of foundational micropile matrices in difficult to access locations. A support frame of separately adjustable legs define a perimeter of the rig and drilling area. A translational frame of arms and a crossbar is selectively mounted to the support frame for easy transport and assembly at remote work sites. The crossbar is selectively slidable along the arms in a Y-axis direction. A crossbar bushing is selectively slidable along the crossbar in an X-axis direction. A mast is slidably attached to and movable with the crossbar. Various adjusters are included and are independently and selectively activated to move the crossbar, and therefore mast and attached drill head, translationally along the X- and Y-axes, optionally Z-axis, and rotationally about the X- and Y-axes to achieve five degrees of freedom in five planes for drilling at any angle within the drilling area.

  • Patent number: 12000280
Abstract: An adjustable drilling rig is provided for drilling and installation of foundational micropile matrices in difficult to access locations. A platform and separately adjustable legs are provided to level the platform. Arms and a crossbar mount to the legs, and each includes a bushing slidably mounted and moveable there along. A mast is slidably attached to the crossbar bushing through a mounting plate. The mast carries a drill head to which a drill will be attached. Various adjusters are mounted to bushings, mounting plate and other components of the adjustable drilling rig and are independently and selectively activated to adjust the drill head translationally along the X-, Y- and Z-axes and rotationally about the X- and Y-axes to achieve five degrees of freedom in five planes. The entire adjustable drilling rig is provided in two frames for easy transport to remote work sites and may be assembled without complex tools.

  • Publication number: 20240139984
Abstract: An automated pizza cutter with a blade and a pizza resting on a working surface. Horizontal, vertical and/or rotational relative movement between the blade and the pizza is effected by different embodiments. The working surface can be moved rotationally relative to the blade, and the blade may be moved horizontally and/or vertically relative to the working surface. In one embodiment, a rotatably driven table supports a pizza while a blade disposed above the table is configured to move vertically and horizontally. A programmable user interface allows operation of the cutter. After the cutting process is completed, a blade cleaner wipes the blade of debris, which eliminates cross contamination between different types of pizzas.

  • Publication number: 20230328084
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system for generating risk scores in near real-time. The system includes a processor and a memory coupled with and readable by the processor and storing therein a set of instructions. When executed by the processor, the processor is caused to generate risk scores in near real-time by receiving near real-time application events associated with an application in near real-time and identifying anomalies from the near real-time application events. The processor is further caused to generate risk scores in near real-time by generating an intermediate near real-time risk score for the identified anomalies and combining the intermediate near real-time risk score with a batch risk score generated from a batch process executed prior to receiving the near real-time application events to generate a near real-time risk score.
