  • Publication number: 20260108049
Abstract: A system, and techniques for operating the system, are provided. The system may include sensors that capture real-time images of a user's face. The system may capture, using the sensors, and analyze the images of the user's face, to identify techniques used, as the user applies the makeup. The system may evaluate the techniques used by the user using a precision detection machine learning model in which the model determines a level of precision associated with the techniques used by the user. The system generates in real-time, based on the determined level of precision, an overlay projection of guidance associated with the images of the face of the user. Using an augmented reality module, the system may display the overlay projection onto the images of the face of the user, a mirrored reflection of the face of the user, or the face of the user in real-time.

  • Publication number: 20260105658
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically depicting users with virtual cosmetic looks during video calls or video conferences are provided. An example system receives an indication of a virtual cosmetic look. The virtual cosmetic look specifies application locations and techniques of virtual cosmetics associated with at least one facial feature. The system overlays, in a real-time image stream, each virtual cosmetic onto a depiction of the associated facial feature of a user within the real-time image stream, the overlay in accordance with one or more characteristics of the facial feature of the user and with the virtual cosmetic look. The system causes the overlaid real-time image stream to be transmitted, via a communication channel, during a video call. The system modifies the overlaid real-time image stream responsive to changes in one or more characteristics of the communication channel during the video call.

  • Publication number: 20260080459
Abstract: Techniques for a user to virtually try-on a physical wearable item at a physical location include detecting the physical presence of a wearable item and identifying a user to automatically trigger virtual try-on of the detected item on the user. Waypoints of a digital/virtual representation of the item may be mapped to waypoints of a virtual mapping or 3D mesh of the user, where the item's digital/virtual representation and/or the user's mapping/3D mesh may be generated in-line with the detecting of the physical wearable item. An AR representation of the wearable item being worn by the user may be generated and presented on image(s) of the user within the physical location. The user may make adjustments (e.g. to the wearable item and/or to the user's appearance) during the virtual try-on, and the techniques may indicate other wearable item(s) which are customized for the user based on the AR representation.

  • Publication number: 20260041221
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for predicting cosmetic effects of ingredients using machine learning. A computing device trains a machine learning model using properties of ingredients having known cosmetic effects as predictor feature values and the known cosmetic effects as target feature values. The computing device obtains a set of properties for a new ingredient and applies them to the trained machine learning model to predict cosmetic effects of the new ingredient. Additionally, the computing device generates a formulation for a new beauty product with the new ingredient using a generative AI model trained on existing beauty product formulations. A virtual cosmetic testing system simulates the predicted cosmetic effects on a virtual person over time. The virtual cosmetic testing system presents a display of the virtual person's face and runs a simulation depicting changes to the virtual person's face as the new ingredient is applied.

  • Publication number: 20260020665
Abstract: An intelligent hairbrush device is provided. The intelligent hairbrush device includes a hairbrush housing, one or more sensors integrated within the housing, one or more processors, and one or more non-transitory memories storing computer-readable instructions. When executed by the processors, these instructions cause the processors to analyze real-time data associated with a user's hair, captured by the sensors as the user uses the intelligent hairbrush device, to determine parameters associated with the user's hair. Based on these parameters, the processors generate recommendations associated with the user's hair and provide these recommendations via a user interface.

  • Publication number: 20260000184
Abstract: Techniques for providing virtual makeup looks to a user include receiving a collection of virtual makeup looks designed by a makeup artist, and presenting the collection of virtual makeup looks for a user to select from via a user interface. In response to receiving a selection of one of the virtual makeup looks in the collection, the selected virtual makeup look is obtained for the user. Then facial features of the user or facial features of an avatar representing the user are identified, and the virtual makeup look is adjusted in accordance with characteristics of the facial features of the user or the avatar. The techniques further include presenting the adjusted virtual makeup look overlaid on the user's or the avatar's face, such that components of the adjusted virtual makeup look are overlaid on corresponding portions of the user's or the avatar's face.
