  • Publication number: 20260099183
Abstract: A computer-implemented system for dispatching devices in a computer data center, has a plurality of energy-using devices, a plurality of energy-providing devices, and a dispatcher programmed to (a) identify future energy loads for the computer data center and available energy-using and energy-generating devices using data received from sources internal to the computer data center and sources external to the computer data center, (b) select particular ones of the available energy-using and energy-generating devices to serve the identified future energy loads, and (c) generate control signals to cause the selected particular ones of the available energy-using and energy-generating devices to serve the identified future energy loads.

  • Publication number: 20260093215
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing electrical and cooling supplies for a computer data center is disclosed, which includes identifying, for a computer data center, an expected need for cooling and electrical power during a future time; selecting, from among multiple different electrical power sources that include one or more electric utility sources, one or more electrical power sources for the data center corresponding to the future time; selecting one or more cooling sources for the data center corresponding to the future time; and serving the data center to be served using the selected one or more electrical power sources and one or more selected cooling sources over a time corresponding to the future time, wherein selecting the one or more electrical power sources and one or more cooling sources comprises applying a parameter to minimize an unfavorable result associated with operating the computer data center.

  • Publication number: 20260093530
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing physical sub-systems in a computer data center is disclosed. The method includes registering, with the operating system, a plurality of physical resources that serve the computer data center with electrical or cooling services; scheduling, with the operating system, tasks that include electrical tasks, cooling tasks, or both, to be performed in response to compute loads to be encountered by the computer data center; and executing, with the operating system, the scheduled tasks with one or more registered physical resources by selecting a mix of electrical power sources sufficient to execute the scheduled tasks and to optimize power use parameters defined for the computer data center.
