  • Publication number: 20240020334
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for audio processing. For instance, a technique can include receiving, from one or more microphones, an audio signal; receiving a periodic timing signal based on the periodic timing signal; combining the audio signal and the periodic timing signal into an audio stream; generating a time stamp based on the received periodic timing signal; and adding the generated time stamp to the audio stream based on the periodic timing signal in the audio stream.

  • Patent number: 11244035
Abstract: Example apparatus and methods may include: (1) a system and method for enrolling a single user's gait pattern using only accelerometer magnitude data; (2) an efficient and low-power method for continuously generating biometric match scores against the enrolled model at run-time using two phases: detection and authentication; (3) an adaptive method for continuously updating the user model by comparing temporary models generated at regular intervals to the canonical user model; and (4) accelerometer samples captured on a wearable and streamed to a mobile device for further processing.

  • Publication number: 20150268706
Abstract: Various embodiments of methods and systems for hardware-based memory power management (“HMPM”) in a portable computing device (“PCD”) running secure and non-secure execution environments are disclosed. Hardware-based state machines are uniquely associated with, and under the control of, the non-secure execution environment, the secure execution environment and a virtual manager, respectively. The states of the state machines constitute votes by each of the execution environments and the virtual manager to control the power supply state to the memory component, such as a cache memory. The votes are monitored by a digital circuit that, based on a combination logic of the votes, generates an output signal to trigger a power management component to maintain, supply or remove power on a rail associated with the memory component. In this way, the power supply state to the memory component cannot be unilaterally changed by an application running in the non-secure execution environment.
