  • Patent number: 11633262
Abstract: A self-ligating bracket for orthodontics, includes: a groove for receiving an archwire; a slide which can be displaced between a closed position in which it bridges the groove and an open position in which the groove is open; and a locking element which can hold the slide both in its closed position and in its open position. In the gingival and/or in the occlusal wall, a recess is open towards the slide in which the locking element is inserted which is directed against the slide. The locking element is displaceably guided in the recess and has elastically or elastomerically bendable tines which, when the slide is pushed over the convex end of the locking element, are displaced deeper into the recess, thereby being elastically or elastomerically bent and thereby building up a restoring force.

Abstract: A self-ligating bracket for orthodontics, includes: a groove for receiving an archwire; a slide which can be displaced between a closed position in which it bridges the groove and an open position in which the groove is open; and means which can hold the slide both in its closed position and in its open position. These means contain, in the gingival and/or in the occlusal wall, a recess which is open towards the slide and in which a locking element is inserted which is directed against the slide. The locking element is displaceably guided in the recess and has elastically or elastomerically bendable tines which, when the slide is pushed over the convex end of the locking element, are displaced deeper into the recess, thereby being elastically or elastomerically bent and thereby building up a restoring force.

  • Publication number: 20180353868
Abstract: An adaptor for stacking spinner assemblies is disclosed. The adaptor comprises a first section, where the first section has a cylindrical outer surface defined by a radius R1. The adaptor further comprises a second section opposite the first section, where the second section has a cylindrical outer surface defined by a radius R1? and is aligned substantially concentrically with the first section. The first section is configured to extend into a bore of a first spinner assembly bearing and the second section is configured to extend into a bore of a second spinner assembly bearing. A stackable spinner assembly is also disclosed that comprises a bearing, a body, and an adaptor.

  • Publication number: 20060260203
Abstract: A window assembly includes an outer frame assembly having opposing side and opposing upper and lower portions for providing a boundary for the outer frame assembly. An inner frame assembly is disposed within the outer frame assembly. The inner frame assembly includes opposing sides and opposing upper and lower portions for providing a boundary for the inner frame assembly. At least one window pane is slidably received in the inner frame assembly. A vertical post extends from the lower portion to the upper portion of the inner frame assembly. A latch is disposed at the upper portion of the vertical post. A latch handle is slidingly received by the vertical post. The latch handle is operably connected to the latch for actuating the latch between open and locked positions.
