  • Publication number: 20250356586
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for generating a geometry for a shape. The technique includes inputting, into a machine learning model, (i) a noise sample and (ii) one or more conditioning inputs. The technique also includes generating, via execution of the machine learning model based on the noise sample and the one or more conditioning inputs, a two-dimensional (2D) position map associated with the shape. The technique further includes generating a three-dimensional (3D) geometry for the shape based on the 2D position map.

  • Publication number: 20250356582
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for training a machine learning model on a geometry generation task. The technique includes generating, via execution of a diffusion model, a first set of training output corresponding to a first set of three-dimensional (3D) geometries based on a first set of conditioning inputs associated with a first conditioning mode, and training the diffusion model based on a first set of loss values associated with the first set of training output. The technique further includes generating, via execution of the diffusion model and a first adapter model, a second set of training output corresponding to a second set of 3D geometries based on a second set of conditioning inputs associated with a second conditioning mode, and training the first adapter model based on a second set of loss values associated with the second set of training output.

  • Publication number: 20250028787
Abstract: Various embodiments set forth systems and techniques for changing a face within an image. The techniques include receiving a first image including a face associated with a first facial identity; generating, via a machine learning model, at least a first texture map and a first position map based on the first image; rendering a second image including a face associated with a second facial identity based on the first texture map and the first position map, wherein the second facial identity is different from the first facial identity.

  • Publication number: 20240303983
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for evaluating three-dimensional (3D) reconstructions. The technique includes generating a 3D reconstruction of an object based on one or more mesh parameters. The technique also includes generating, based on the 3D reconstruction, a 3D rendering of the object. The technique further includes generating, using a machine learning model, a perceptual score associated with the 3D rendering and an input image of the object. The generated score represents how closely the 3D rendering matches the input image.

  • Publication number: 20230252714
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for performing shape and appearance reconstruction. The technique includes generating a first set of renderings associated with an object based on a set of parameters that represent a reconstruction of the object in a first target image. The technique also includes producing, via a neural network, a first set of corrections associated with at least a portion of the set of parameters based on the first target image and the first set of renderings. The technique further includes generating an updated reconstruction of the object based on the first set of corrections.
