Publication number: 20230225695Abstract: Audio signals, collected with equipment commonly available to individuals (e.g., a mobile device), can be used to analyze a patient’s breathing. An audio signal associated with the patient’s breathing for a time period can be detected with the mobile device and used to approximate the patient’s respiratory flow for the time period. For example, the audio signal can be analyzed by determining a representation of an audio frequency of the audio signal, splitting the audio frequency of the audio signal into distinct time steps, determining points comprising a weighted mean frequency at each time step, applying a frequency-to-flow rate linear transformation at each time step to approximate the respiratory flow versus time, and plotting a graphical representation of the respiratory flow versus time. The respiratory flow for the time period can be tagged with a factor related to the patient and saved in a database for future analysis.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 20, 2023Publication date: July 20, 2023Inventors: Christopher M. Patent number: 11314658Abstract: A data processing apparatus comprises processing circuitry to execute a plurality of processes. An ownership table comprises one or more entries each indicating, for a corresponding block of physical addresses, which of the processes is an owner process that has exclusive control of access to the corresponding block of physical addresses. A new process may be prevented from becoming an owner process until after successful completion of destructive overwriting. Ownership protection circuitry may detect a mismatch between an expected attribute, which is dependent on information in a page table entry, and an attribute specified in the ownership table. Each entry in the ownership table, for example, may indicate a level of encryption to be applied. Access control circuitry such as a memory management unit (MMU) may also determine whether an access request satisfies access permissions. The ownership table may also specify whether a higher privilege level process is allowed to access a block of physical addresses.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2016Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: Arm LimitedInventors: Jason Parker, Richard Roy Grisenthwaite, Andrew Christopher Rose

Patent number: 11183768Abstract: A method for deploying a trough structure. The methods comprise: causing a first telescoping segment to move in a first direction away from a proximal end of a telescoping boom; and transiting a flexible element from an untensioned state to a tensioned state as the first telescoping segment is moved in the first direction. The flexible element is coupled to a distal end of the first telescoping segment by a first bulkhead and is coupled to a distal end of a second telescoping segment by a second bulkhead. The first telescoping segment is coupled to the second telescoping segment of the boom when the first telescoping segment reaches an extended position. The flexible element has a parabolic trough shape when in the tensioned state.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2020Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Assignee: EAGLE TECHNOLOGY, LLCInventors: Robert M.
