  • Publication number: 20230355971
Abstract: The pain-relieving apparatus has a housing, a stimulating surface, user inputs, and a plurality of ports, such as a battery port and a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) output connector. The stimulating surface may include a suction ring, vacuum apertures, vibration stimulators, a plate, heat and cold transducer elements, and medicinal holders to provide various approaches for relieving pain. In some examples, the pain-relieving apparatus features a haptic motor that may have a coil frame, a voice coil, a rod, a magnet slidable on the rod, and compression springs on each side of the magnet. As the magnet oscillates, it produces vibrations having waveforms such as sine waves, square waves, triangle waves, sawtooth waves, and related waveforms. A user may adjust the waveform according to whether the pain experienced is acute or chronic in nature and according to personal preference or preloaded settings.

  • Publication number: 20230277910
Abstract: A golf swing training apparatus has a shaft, a housing with a top cap and a bottom cap, and a plurality of weighted discs receivable within the housing. A golfer may adjust the weight of the head of the club by adding or removing weighted discs in the housing. The golf swing training apparatus may comprise an accelerometer within the housing so as to measure the speed, acceleration, and swing path that the club takes for feedback and analysis to improve the golfer's swing.

  • Patent number: 11596405
Abstract: A sutureless device and methods for closing a tissue opening that minimizes the labor, cost, and skill typically required is disclosed. The apparatus comprises two anchors that attach to either side of an open tissue wound. The two anchors are connected together by a tie strip; the tie strip has a plurality of teeth and a rack. As the wound edges and anchors are brought together the ratchet system on the tie strip prevents the anchors and tissue wound from reopening. To control the distance between the two anchors, a rack and pinion system and a key or a lever system is utilized. The rack is located on the tie strip and the pinion is located on the key.

  • Patent number: 11529046
Abstract: A tongue maneuvering apparatus has a body, a first attachment site, and a second attachment site. The body includes a bulb, a tongue receiving portion, a tongue aperture, and a slot. The body may be a thin, pliable plastic, such as silicone, so as to create proper suction with the tongue when inserted into the tongue receiving portion. A healthcare provider is able to extend and manipulate a patient's tongue so as to clearly view the mouth and throat without activating the gag reflex and maintaining control of the tongue by the provider.

  • Patent number: 11266847
Abstract: A multi-function portable automated external defibrillator (referred to herein as “multi-function AED”) comprises a housing and AED cables. The housing includes a power source that delivers a defibrillation of a set number of joules via monophasic or biphasic options. The housing may be lightweight and compact. The housing further comprises a plurality of ports, such as a charging port, a plurality of USB ports, a cable output port, a 12V port, and an AC in port. The housing also comprises a power button and a flashlight. A user may use a phone application and connect to the multi-function AED through connecting physically via the user's own phone cord or via a wireless connection to recognize and treat ventricular fibrillation.
