  • Publication number: 20240082652
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a driver-type golf club head that is made from at least one first material, having a density between 0.9 g/cc and 3.5 g/cc, at least one second material, having a density between 3.6 g/cc and 5.5 g/cc, and at least one third material, having a density between 5.6 g/cc and 20.0 g/cc. The first material has a first mass no more than 55% and no less than 25% of the total mass of the golf club head. The second material has a second mass no more than 65% and no less than 20% of the total mass of the golf club head. The third material has a third mass equal to the total mass of the golf club head less the first mass of the first material and the second mass of the second material.

  • Patent number: 10618462
Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to encapsulation-embedded exterior-facing light sets for vehicles, and/or methods of making the same. This system includes a main body portion. Wire guides are embedded in, and located along a channel of, the main body portion. Pockets are formed in the main body portion. Removable light sources are located in the pockets. A power and/or data cable is fed through the wire guides and through the channel of the main body portion, and is operably connected to the light sources. A groove is shaped and arranged to receive a windshield of the safety and/or protection vehicle such that, when the groove receives the windshield and the windshield is installed in the vehicle, the pockets and the light sources are external to the vehicle. The light sources may be LED light sources, with each pocket receiving plural LEDs provided on a respective LED module and associated optical element(s).

  • Patent number: 8055195
Abstract: A wireless communications device comprising a communications section adapted to communicate with a remote device using at least two wireless carriers, a signal detection section for detecting a control signal in a communications path between the wireless communications device and the at least two wireless carriers, said signal detection section generating a detection result, and a control section for evaluating the detection result and setting one of the at least two carriers as a primary communications path for communication with the remote device and one of the at least two carriers as a secondary communications path for communication with the remote device based upon the evaluation.

  • Patent number: 8035516
Abstract: A system and method for false alarm prevention in unstable locations is presented. In one embodiment, the method comprises activating an asset sensor and a reference sensor, detecting motion in the asset sensor, determining if the reference sensor detects motion, and preventing transmission of an alarm if the reference sensor detects the motion. In another embodiment, the method comprises activating an asset sensor and a reference sensor, detecting motion in the asset sensor and transmitting acceleration data in accordance with the detected motion, sensing local acceleration data from the reference sensor, and signaling an alarm if a difference between the transmitted acceleration data and the local acceleration data is greater than a predetermined threshold. The reference sensor can be mounted in a control panel, and the asset and reference sensors can be enrolled in the control panel.
