  • Publication number: 20060136354
Abstract: An apparatus and method for implementing data warehousing systems. According to a first embodiment, a system may include a plurality of data warehouses, and a data warehouse manager configured to extract data sets from one or more data sources for storage in one or more of the plurality of data warehouses. Each of a first subset including two or more of the plurality of data warehouses may be configured to store a respective replica of a first data set extracted by the data warehouse manager. Further, the data warehouse manager may be further configured to allow a query dependent upon the first data set to be evaluated by one of the first subset of data warehouses before each respective replica of the first data set has been stored to a corresponding data warehouse of the first subset.

  • Publication number: 20050021666
Abstract: A system for matching users with profile data of interest to that user is provided to establish real-time interactive communication with another user related to the matched profile data. The system includes a matching database system that allows for entering profile data, a matching a user's profile to other profiles, and sending notification messages to a user to indicate matches made. The matching database system also has stored therein a plurality of profiles containing profile data. The system further allows users to communicate with the matching database system to enter profiles containing profile data and to receive the notification messages. The notification messages sent by the matching database system further allow the user receiving a notification message to communicate interactively in real-time with a representative of a matched profile.

  • Publication number: 20030015058
Abstract: A flywheel for racing vehicles which has an increased life. The flywheel has reduced weight but resists deflection at high rpm to avoid plastic deformation and fatigue. The flywheel is formed to have more material lying in planes perpendicular to the axis of rotation while maintaining dimensions demanded by racing criteria.

  • Patent number: 5785163
Abstract: A centrifugal clutch cover assembly for use in a clutch as a reaction surface in selective actuation of a pressure ring to clamp one or more discs mounted on a drive shaft for conjoint rotation therewith between the pressure ring and a flywheel of an engine thereby to selectively interconnect the drive shaft and the engine flywheel. The cover assembly includes a flat cover plate having a center and a central opening therein for receiving the drive shaft therethrough free of connection to the cover plate. Lever assemblies include levers pivotally mounted on the clutch plate at angularly spaced apart locations, and pressure members constructed and arranged for applying a force to the pressure ring for clamping the disc between the pressure ring and flywheel. The levers are disposed such that the pressure members apply more clamping force to the pressure ring the faster the flywheel and cover plate are rotating.
