Patent number: 12322482Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for creating source-specific, persistent patient identifiers for healthcare service providers. One method includes accessing a record of healthcare data, wherein the record includes patient identifying information (PII) associated with one or more persons to whom the healthcare data pertains. The portions of PII included in the accessed record of healthcare data are extracted from the accessed record and encrypted. Based on one or more business rules, one or more hashed tokens are created by applying one or more hashing functions to the extracted portions of PII. A source-specific identifier is received, the source-specific identifier having been encoded in a manner specific to an organization associated with the computer system and having been encoded with reference to the one or more hashed tokens. An association is stored between the source-specific identifier and the accessed record of healthcare data.Type: GrantFiled: August 15, 2024Date of Patent: June 3, 2025Assignee: IQVIA Inc.Inventors: Christopher Blum, Geoff Wall, John Giannouris

Publication number: 20220382769Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for performing a search query based on one or more search terms and variations for each of the search terms and outputting the search results in a sortable, filterable, manipulable format. A search request, based on the search query, may be sent to at least one server. Each of the search terms and variations thereof may be assigned different weights. The results may include one or more matches to the search terms and variations thereof. The results may be sorted based on the weights assigned to each of the search terms and variations thereof. The results may be output to be viewed, sorted, filtered, or manipulated by a user.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2022Publication date: December 1, 2022Applicant: Judgment Search Network, LLCInventors: Kwan Skinner, Dolores Dios, Lloyd Glick, Scott O'Neill, Christopher Blum, Phill Davis

Publication number: 20080163617Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a cylinder wall through which an exhaust port with an exhaust port inner surface is routed from a combustion chamber to an exhaust port opening in the cylinder wall. A pipe section is arranged in a section of the exhaust port following the exhaust port opening in the direction of the combustion chamber with a pipe section outer surface, which reduces the heat transfer from the exhaust gas from the exhaust port into the cylinder wall. The pipe section outer surface is spaced from the exhaust port inner surface through an air gap by sections along an entire outer circumference of the pipe section.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 29, 2007Publication date: July 10, 2008Applicant: DOLMAR GMBHInventors: Jan Rodenbeck, Christian Kellermann, Christoph Blum

Publication number: 20060009996Abstract: A method, system, computer program product, and related business methods for phased rollout of an upgraded version of a web-based business information system are described. URLs associated with client requests remain the same even where the target subscriber accounts have been upgraded. Client requests for both upgraded and non-upgraded accounts are received by a common set of web servers. Client requests representing external entry points are trapped, and the receiving web server accesses a login router database to determine whether the target subscriber account is upgraded or non-upgraded, and then transfers the request to an appropriately-versioned application server. Application server sets are mapped to database sets according to system version, allowing the upgraded system database schema to be substantially different than the non-upgraded database schema. An early adopter program business method leveraging the abilities of such web-based business information system is also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2004Publication date: January 12, 2006Inventors: David Lipscomb, Christopher Blum, Theodore Rice
