  • Patent number: 11935360
Abstract: A gaming device may perform various electronic games, such as a keno game, and may include a game controller configured to control operations of the performed electronic games. During the course of a game performed on the gaming device, the game controller may control various winning scenarios, including alternate winning scenarios. At certain stages in a keno game, a number of markers may be selected. Before, after, or while these markers are selected, the game controller may determine how many bonus markers will be selected. Based on the number of selected bonus markers, the game controller may initiate a bonus draw phase where an additional number of markers may be selected. After all markers have been selected, any selected bonus markers may be added together and the calculated sum may be added to a credit balance associated with a player of the gaming device.

  • Publication number: 20230306822
Abstract: A bonus round of a video keno game may consist of a series of bonus game instances. During a bonus game instance, a game controller may identify a set of bonus game pieces and select a set of bonus outcome identifiers from a bonus outcome pool. A win amount may be determined based on the number of matches between the set of bonus outcome identifiers and the set of bonus game pieces. The bonus outcome identifiers may include persistent identifiers and non-persistent identifiers. Persistent identifiers may be removed from the bonus outcome pool for subsequent bonus game instances in the series. Additionally or alternatively, the bonus game pieces corresponding to the persistent identifiers may continue to be matches for the subsequent bonus game instances in the series.

  • Publication number: 20230130615
Abstract: A computer-based video keno game displays a keno game including a set of game pieces of a game board of the keno game, each respective game piece of the game board corresponding to a respective number. A user interface may receive a player input for the keno game, where the player input specifies a set of selected game pieces including a set of special game pieces. A game controller may select a set of numbers from a pool of numbers and determine an amount of matches between the set of selected numbers and the set of selected game pieces. If the last selected number matches a special game piece, a number of free games may be multiplied by a multiplier.

  • Patent number: 10682480
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods that utilize a tracheal tube with a shaped evacuation port. An evacuation port coupled to a suction lumen may be shaped to reduce air channel formation within the suction lumen, which in turn may improve the suctioning force and efficiency. The shaped evacuation ports may be generally oval or may be shaped to minimize a height dimension while maintaining a suitable cross-sectional area. In particular embodiments, the shaped evacuation ports may have cross-sectional areas that correspond to a cross-sectional area of the suction lumen.

  • Publication number: 20130092171
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods that utilize a tracheal tube with pressure distribution features. For certain patients, the vocal cords may form a seal with an inserted tracheal tube. A pressure distribution lumen may allow fluid communication between tracheal space above and below the vocal cords. This in turn may reduce the formation of a vacuum seal forming around a suction lumen evacuation port. Accordingly, the disclosed embodiments provide improved suctioning by distributing the pressure around the evacuation port and the space above the vocal cords.

  • Publication number: 20080111524
Abstract: An internal combustion motor assembly, including an internal combustion motor, a starter and a battery. In addition, the motor assembly includes a capacitor assembly, a capacitor charging assembly and a conductive network, logic and controlled switching assembly adapted to place the internal combustion motor into one of a set of states. This set includes a first state in which the capacitor assembly is receiving charge from the capacitor charging assembly but is not electrically connected to the starter; a second state in which the capacitor assembly is electrically connected to and powers the starter; and a third state in which both the battery and the capacitor assembly are electrically connected to and power the starter. The logic and controlled switching assembly places the internal combustion motor assembly into the third state after it has been in the second state and a set of criteria is met.

  • Publication number: 20060232248
Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting outputs of dynamoelectric devices, such as alternators, are provided. The outputs of the dynamoelectric devices may be balanced to facilitate load sharing among the devices. The outputs may be balanced by monitoring field signals associated with the dynamoelectric devices and controlling the field voltages of the devices. The outputs may also be adjusted to supply the load in dissimilar proportions.

  • Publication number: 20060063578
Abstract: An poker game which provides a predetermined outcome to a player. In one embodiment, a plurality of playing cards are provided to a player wherein one or more of the provided playing cards are based on the predetermined game outcome. The player is enabled to select one or more of the initially dealt playing cards to hold or to discard. If a poker hand with an associated payout equal to the value associated with the predetermined game outcome may be obtained based on the held cards, the gaming device utilizes one or more backfill algorithms, to determine which card or cards, if any, need to be dealt to the player. The determined cards are provided to the player to replace the playing cards designated by the player to discard and the selected predetermined game outcome which is associated with a value equal to the payout of the player's poker hand is provided to the player.
