  • Publication number: 20160232138
Abstract: A system for linking together and publishing websites and audio files together, as one unit, by anyone on the Internet, generating a single link referred to as a Sound Link that is able to then be accessed and launched from anywhere on the Internet by a user, generating a combination visual and audio experience for the user who clicks on the Sound Link that was generated. The Sound Link launches the website while playing the audio file associated with that website. A website is any content that is accessible on the Internet including full websites and their components including text documents, graphics, games, photos, advertisement, files, video, and other website content. Audio includes any audio file that is accessible on the Internet. The system is referred to as an Audio-Website Link Generation and Access System for purposes of describing the system.

  • Publication number: 20120253493
Abstract: A device, system and method for automatic audio recording and publishing. An electronic device having an audio recording ability includes an audio sharing program that enables a user to input a single command to execute the program and begin recording audio with the electronic device without the need for further input to the device. As a result, a user is able to quickly capture their thoughts or other audio related to an event before the moment has passed. After another single command, preset time period or trigger action such as ending the recording or hanging up, the sharing program automatically publishes the recorded audio according to one or more preselected or default settings. In particular, the user is able to preselect one or more media outlets to which the audio should be published as well as the format and time at which the audio should be published.

  • Patent number: 8105315
Abstract: A breakaway hemostasis hub for a catheter or introducer sheath includes a splittable or separable housing, a seal within the housing, an actuator partially slidably disposed within the housing, a pair of spring retainer members in the housing each adapted to receive at least one spring, and a pair of actuator retainer members adapted to retain the seal, the actuator, and the spring retainer members in the housing. The actuator is operable to assume a closed position and an open position and includes a dilator member configured to dilate the seal when the actuator is in the open position. The hub is splittable or separable into two generally symmetrical sub-assemblies to facilitate cutting the catheter for retraction from the patient's body without displacing its payload.

  • Patent number: 8048033
Abstract: A hemostasis seal configured for use in a splittable hemostasis valve, hub, or introducer sheath to permit passage of a medical device therethrough. The seal provides a substantially fluid-tight seal around the medical device without causing excessive frictional resistance that would otherwise unduly restrict movement of the medical device through the seal. In one embodiment, the seal includes first and second resilient seal portions each having a contoured mating surface to provide a first fluid seal with respect to the medical device. The seal also may include one or more projecting portions and one or more mating receiving portions which interact to provide a second fluid seal with respect to the medical device.

  • Publication number: 20100325562
Abstract: A live content information system is used to register, promote and distribute true live content, pseudo-live content and on-demand content. The live content information system associates a registration number with the content. The live content is integrated into an overall presentation that includes auxiliary content. Snapshots or a portion of the content is integrated into a promotional viewer and distributed to advertise the content. The live primary content and auxiliary content are integrated and distributed within a live content viewer. The live primary content and auxiliary content are distributed from the appropriate sources to be displayed at the end user's computer system within the live content viewer. The live content information system also allows a producer of live content to be connected to one or more sponsors who will pay money for sponsoring the distribution of live content.
