  • Patent number: 5449089
Abstract: A plastic bell fountain cup includes a bottom surface, and a side wall formed integrally with and extending upwardly from the bottom surface. The side wall has a lower portion adjacent the bottom surface, an upper lip portion defining a top opening of the cup, and a radially outwardly expanded portion located between the lower portion and the upper lip portion. • Patent number: 5385326
Abstract: The invention relates to stackable coasters utilizing a tab and groove mechanism on its lower outside and upper inside side portions, respectively. The tab may consist of protrusions, keys, detents, or the like on the bottom portions of the coasters and grooves consisting of depressions, indentations, keyways, notches or the like on the top portions of the coasters. The tab and groove mechanism guarantees that only one specific coaster may be stacked above or below another particular coaster. Moreover, the tabs and grooves further ensure that the sides of each stacked coaster are radially positioned identically each time relative to the sides of the coaster above and/or the coaster below it. This tab and groove feature, thereby, allows a particular image, design, or picture to be displayed from the sides of the set of coasters every time when each coaster is stacked in its proper angular position.

  • Patent number: 5048171
Abstract: A method for converting a barrel type unit into an assembly for holding chilled products, particularly, barrel units having an upper annular portion of a smaller circumference as compared to other annular portions thereof, the barrel unit also including top and bottom end closure walls, the method including supplying a kit of separate components including a tub member for holding ice and product positioned therein, and a sizing device for determining the proper location for severing the barrel side wall, the tub member having an annular support flange associated with the upper portion thereof for cooperatively engaging with a peripheral edge portion of the barrel unit when the barrel unit is severed at a particular location therearound, the sizing device enabling a user to locate the particular location on the barrel side wall at which to sever the same such that the annular edge resulting therefrom will be compatible with the annular support flange associated with the tub member.

  • Patent number: 4801025
Abstract: An adjustable shelf unit adaptable to be supported on a support structure including frangible side and rear portions which can be easily detachably removed therefrom for adjusting both the depth and/or width of the unit to facilitate use on existing shelf structures having varying depths and widths. Removal of one or both of the frangible side portions provides shelf width adjustment whereas removal of the frangible rear portion provides shelf depth adjustment. The present shelf units are specifically designed for use both as a single shelf unit to more effectively organize and merchandise products therefrom and are likewise particularly adapted to be arranged in spaced apart relationship one above the other to form a two-tier product merchandising display system, which two-tier arrangement effectively doubles the avilable shelf capacity.
