  • Publication number: 20180092816
Abstract: A method for improving the appearance of the skin, moisturizing skin and/or providing an antioxidant effect to skin by administering to skin a composition comprising an effective amount of a hydrogen-generating agent or molecular hydrogen and a carrier having a phosphatidylcholine component entrapping the hydrogen-generating agent or molecular hydrogen. A skin care product has an effective amount of molecular hydrogen and/or a hydrogen-generating agent; and a carrier entrapping them. Desirably, the composition is an aqueous base, and the hydrogen-generating agent and the carrier form a first phase of the composition, and an emulsifier forms a second phase of the composition.

  • Publication number: 20170283748
Abstract: An encapsulated cleaning composition includes a core cleaning composition and a water-soluble film disposed about the core cleaning composition. The core cleaning composition itself includes an ionic liquid, water present in an amount of from 10 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the core cleaning composition, and at least one of a chelant, an enzyme, and a surfactant. The water-soluble film has a disintegration time of less than 90 seconds as determined at 40° C. using distilled water according to MSTM 205, when disposed about the core cleaning composition. The water-soluble film also remains stable for 6 months at 25° C., when disposed about the core cleaning composition.

  • Publication number: 20170275567
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a detergent composition including (a) in total in the range of from 4.0% to 25.0% by weight of at least one organic chelating agent selected from methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA), glutamic acid diacetic acid (GLDA), the alkali metal salts of methyl glycine diacetic acid (MGDA) and glutamic acid diacetic acid (GLDA), referring to the total solids content of the respective detergent composition, and (b) at least one enzyme selected from proteases. The present invention is also directed toward the use of the detergent composition for laundry care and for automatic dishwashing, and to a process for manufacture of the detergent compositions.

  • Publication number: 20150329803
Abstract: A homogeneous detergent composition includes an alkalinity builder in an amount of at least about 35 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the homogeneous detergent composition. The homogeneous detergent composition also includes a polycarboxylate for dispersing the alkalinity builder, and a solvent for further dispersing the alkalinity binder. The solvent is present in an amount of from about 20 to about 45 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the homogeneous detergent composition. The homogeneous detergent composition has a viscosity of at least about 15,000 cPs at 25° C.

  • Publication number: 20120172208
Abstract: The methods of the disclosure may be used for the fluorination of organic compounds, and in particular aryl organic compounds other than just benzyl halogens. It is within the scope of the present disclosure, for organic compounds comprising an electrophilic carbon atom and a halogen leaving group to be fluorinated by the methods of the disclosure. One aspect of the disclosure provides methods of introducing a fluorine atom onto an electrophilic carbon atom, comprising mixing an insoluble basic silver salt, an organic molecule containing a leaving group, an aqueous solution of hydrofluoric acid, and a polar solvent:water composition; incubating said mixture at a temperature of about 20° C. to about 35° C., thereby obtaining a fluorinated organic product.
