  • Publication number: 20250007395
Abstract: A switched capacitor voltage regulator (SCVR) design, such as a continuous capacitive voltage regulator (C2VR) design, may use capacitors and switches to provide improved cost and space efficiencies. A remote sensing circuit may be used to improve C2VR performance. By adding a remote sensing circuit to the regulation feedback loop within the C2VR circuit design, the C2VR circuit may provide improved accuracy in voltage regulation, such as by providing a correction based on the voltage error between the remote-sensed voltage and the reference target. The remote sensing circuit may also provide transient information for under-voltage detection at an output terminal. This detected transient may become an alternating current (AC) portion of the under-voltage detection threshold, which improves the ability of the C2VR circuit to provide early detection for any under-voltage fault.

  • Publication number: 20250003313
Abstract: Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) is a relatively new technology directed to mitigating climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Current and new government requirements require proof that carbon dioxide (CO2) is either sequestered in a stable form or safely stored for long periods of time. In instances when the CO2 is sequestered through mineral formation, the need for long-term monitoring can be reduced, as the stability of the sequestered CO2 is inherent based on a chemical change in subterranean rocks. The reactions between CO2 and rock formations are influenced by numerous factors, including temperature, pressure, fluid composition, and the mineralogy of the formation. Furthermore, these reactions occur over large spatial areas and long timescales, making them difficult to monitor directly.

  • Publication number: 20250002049
Abstract: Proactively mitigating risk to a vehicle traversing a vehicle transportation network includes identifying a location for a virtual vehicle. The virtual vehicle is added to a world object model maintained with respect to the vehicle. A trajectory is predicted for the virtual vehicle. The vehicle is autonomously controlled according to an adjusted trajectory that is based on the trajectory for the virtual vehicle. The adjusted trajectory includes at least one of a lateral constraint or a speed constraint. The location for the virtual vehicle is identified based on a lane in map data, a trajectory of a vehicle, and a perceptible area by sensors of the vehicle. The virtual vehicle is a hypothetical vehicle that is not observed by sensors of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12181583
Abstract: A method for scanning a scene is disclosed. According to the method, light is transmitted by a transmitter through a transmitter surface grating array, as a first elliptical pattern in a first lateral direction. Light is received by a receiver through a receiver surface grating array, from an area of a second elliptical pattern. The received light is reflected from the first elliptical pattern. The first elliptical pattern is orthogonal to the second elliptical pattern. The first elliptical pattern overlaps with the second elliptical pattern.
