An interaction between the slidable interaction member and the cap locking tab causes the cap locking tab to bias outward, and placement of a safety cap on the container after use locks the safety cap onto the container via an interaction with the cap locking tab. The container may further include a resistance feature to control movement of a plunger rod relative to the vial.
